I got so busy last week that I forgot to blog about our mini vacation last May 10. Hubby and I spent our 24 hours in The Coffee Farmhouse in Tagaytay. It was recommended by my sister and we found it really nice. We enjoyed our stay there. See below for my rating:

+ Spacious for 2 person.
+ With indoor restroom.
+ Shower Heater
+ No A/C but with ceiling fan. Actually, even an electric fan is not needed that time because the air is already cold.

+/-No TV but still good because we're able to spend most of our time outdoor and really have some bonding time. The TV is only located in the dining area.

Food
+ Included in the rate.
+ Yummy. They have a good cook/chef who happens to be the owner.
+ Everything was delicious. Hubby who is very meticulous with food liked all of them.
+ We had the following:
AM Snacks: Tuna Sandwich and overflowing coffee or milo
Lunch: Lumpiang Ubod, Kare-kare and Pakwan
PM Snacks: Carbonara

Bfast: Longganisa, Salted Egg, Fried Rice, Papaya
+ Coffee is free anytime of the day.
+ They home grown their coffee and it was really good. I like the aroma and taste.

Service
+ It was great.
+ It is a family business. So the owners are hands-on with the needs of the guests.
+ The owner even toured us to the whole place so we can see all their rooms.
+ They ensured that the guest will enjoy their stay.

+ They have spots for night bonfire activity.
+ Cottages by the pool - clean and well-lit @ night

+ Clean and Cozy Dining Area.
+ They have bicycle and scooters for kids.
+ They have mini store where you can buy chips, chocolates and toiletries.
+ Use of the facilities is free of charge.

Others:
+ They can accommodate your chosen time for check-in and check-out. Rates will vary depending on the meals you want.
+ You can have a worry free vacation because foods are being prepared for you.
+ We're not able to pay our reservation due to lack of time but they still accommodated us. We just paid the whole amount upon checkout.
- Nice website here:
+/- Globe Telecoms signal is weak in the area. This is an advantage if you don't want to be disturbed during your vacation.

OVERALL RATING:
Satisfactory!!!! And recommendable.

SIDE Story:
Hubby and I really had a good time. We spent a lot of time together. We played badminton, table tennis and billiards. We also sued the pool both in the morning and afternoon. We stayed in the gazebo, took some pictures, watched TV and write dedication on the Mother's Day cards that we created the other night. We even played with bikes and scooters. We played like kids and really enjoyed our time together.

Btw, Hubby and I also learned a lot about coffee because of the TRIVIA cards attached to their coffee trees.

Company Outing Tomorrow

I know it's quite late for a summer outing because it is already raining. But still we are thankful that we'll be having a time-off tomorrow. We'll be spending a whole day there.

We will be going to El Madero in Lipa Batangas. They said that it will fun and exciting. But what excites us the most is our friend who'll be joining the Mr. & Ms. contest. Hehehe.

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter Everyone!
Hope You had a fruitful and Blessed Day!

We're not able to join the "Salubong" this morning because my cellphone's battery got empty and it didn't alarm. We just attended the mass this afternoon.

Btw, already uploaded the pix of our Holyweek Vacation / 3rd Year Wedding Anniversary Celebration in Punta de Fabian- Baras, Rizal. We really enjoyed our stay there. Everyone was so accomodating. The place is so romantic and relaxing! The foods are good and not expensive. We didn't regret that we chose to celebrate there instead of our planned overnight stay in a Hotel. You got to see for yourself. More Pix are in this link.

My Favorite Tree in Punta de Fabian

Relaxing outside our Room

We also visited 2 churches in Rizal. The Tanay and Baras Church. The Baras Church is a very old church. It was built in 15th century. Looking @ the church, you can feel that you are in a different time - it's like a blast in the past. It's worth our visit. We also made a wish.... since it was both our 1st time in their church.... we wished for a baby... and a stronger, happy and fruitful married life!

The Weather is Changing and So Am I

Summer is here. I can now feel the heat! Last weekend, I took a bath twice because I kept on sweating. But... It was my bad... Now... I feel that I am having colds. My nose is running. Huhuhu.

This can't be because hubby and I are celebrating our 3rd Year Anni in Punta de Fabian. Need to be well to enjoy the moment and the serenity of the place.

I LOVE TO TRAVEL

I love to travel. I have dreamt of traveling since I was a kid. My dream vacation is in Europe. I was lucky to be in the company where I am working right now because I was given travels to California USA and Taiwan. I was also able to travel with my husband. Our first trip was for our honeymoon in Bangkok. Just this year, we were able to visit Hongkong. We found traveling fun and exciting. We would like to travel again in the near future. It could be in Singapore or in Hongkong Again.

Our first travel together was arranged by my husband's relative who has a travel agency while our travel to Hongkong was arranged by a different travel agency.

I have heard from some friends that online travel and Hotel Reservations are cheaper. I would like to try it on our next travel. Since my husband and I are already planning for our next travel, I tried visiting this site.

I found this site complete. They have everything that a tourist would need for their trip. They have the complete list of hotels, flight details, car rentals and vacation packages. They also have a complete destination for easy planning of trip. Group bookings are also available and they also give special group rates. They accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express Payment. The best part of their site is they offer a very low travel prizes. I will surely book my flights with them for our next travel.
