Hubby's Work in BG Gallery

Finally, after 2 attempts, hubby's work of love got into the BG Gallery. He was so happy about it.

See below for the wento's of each page as described by hubby:

Mi Amore - Album Layout This is my very first scrapbook layout. I have taken a challenge to myself that I would like to see my layout in BG gallery and my anniversary gift to my loving wife. My wife has inspired me a lot for the BG challenge and as a matter of fact, I was in the picture in her BG layout posted last October. As anniversary gift, please grant me the chance for this layout to be posted... To be honest, I was also surprised in the outcome... Truly A Gift for the Heart, A Gift for the woman who has taken my Heart away! Each layout has a story to tell and a secrets to unveil. Beautiful flowers as border for the most beautiful woman - My Wife... Ella (the brads at the corner spells out her name) What to expect: - more than 7 BG papers were used - new layout - new dimensioning - embossing 3D and 4D - touch of Origami - and my favorite sites... picture of my wife

1. Open Album Favorite Things (Left wing) and Cutee! (right wing) and Love - It's all about LOVE and LOVElla my wife (center wing) overview

2. Favorite Things (Lower Left)
This is my favorite picture of my wife that I have taken... Gorgeous isn't she! Her favorite things... scrapbook materials and Taz (hard to admit that he's not in love with her - but looking in the LOVE letters). The flower is 3D embossed and 4D.

3. Dragon extended (Upper Left)
My wife is a Dragon (Year of the Dragon) and a Ruby (birthstone). Dragon signifies power and Ruby eyes for riches. Micky and Minnie mouse golden picture signifies our love and and very good future. L stand for Lovella, my wife... which could be swiveled around signifying non-ending Love to share amidst the strong dragon and wealth behind (Micky and Minnie).

4. Cutee! ( Lower Right) These are pre-nup pictures of my ex-girlfriend (my wife now). She's very cute (a true Babe) that captured (net frame) my Heart and made me offer my never ending (circular ring) love (heart) and flowers (3D embossed).

5. Cutee! Extended (Upper Right)
This is a love letter sealed with a golden key and heart origami.

6. Author's Page (Back Page)
This is the author who is me... the Hubby.

Hmmmm. Kilig ako. hehehe.

Altered Piknik Can

Today, Hubby and I just stayed in the house. We cleaned and organized our cabinets in the kitchen and bedroom. Hubby also played with his new Dart pins that we bought last night. He attached his Dart Board in our backyard.

While I was cleaning our room, I was about to throw the piknik can that I was keeping for months now but I changed my mind and altered it to make it a medicine can. Able to finish it for less than 30mins thus it was so simple.

Materials:
Piknik Can, Scenic Route PPS, MME card, Prima Flower, Bling, Modge Podge.

Personal Bedding for Me

I love taking pictures and I love making use of pictures. I use them for my scrapbook pages and greeting cards. I love giving gifts which are mostly personalized. I also love receiving a personalized gift. This Christmas season, some gift ideas i have in my mind are birthstone inspired rosary, an 8x8 scrapbook page, personalized pen, personalized mugs and personalized bracelets. I also heard of personalized blankets, bedding, pillows and even dog beds. Any picture of animals can turn into a cute and lovely Animal Bedding. This would be a nice present for friends and family. But, I also love to have one of those. Santa, can you hear me? I'm watching out. I am not crying. I am not pouting. I've been naughty but I've also been nice because I know you're coming to town. Do you have my animal bedding now?

I hope Santa would hear me but if he doesn't, I know you can read this. Can you be my Santa?

Live Chat

If gives a smile on my face when I remember my teenage years. I'm not a troublesome kid but I also have some naughtiness. When I was in my early college years, I remember that I use to join the live chat lines. This is where we dialed a number then we will hear all the noise and conversation that is going on. We have our own code name like batibot, maldita, and others. Most of the people in the chat line are teenagers. It was fun because we get to use a free chat. Identify is also hidden although at times you can give your number to a member for a personal chat by leaving the chat line. I used to be a lurker in those times but whenever I hear somebody voicing out their numbers, I dialed them and don't answer. This is so naughty of me. But those were my teenage years. The funny thing is I was also able to influenced my cousins in joining the chat. By the way, I also gained friends in this teen chat. It was not that bad at all.

I got to see the latest version of this live chat. But this time, it's not for everybody. You must be over 18 years of age to join. The thing I like about this new teen chat is that they offer a lot of things like greeting creation, leaving of voice personal, dating tips, advise for singles and a lot more. Well, I think, if I am still a teenager and still single, I would definitely give this a try. I think this would really be fun and exciting because you can meet new friends and other people from different places

Still Here....

I'm getting depressed and disappointed. I'm still in the office... as usual... waiting for my dear hubby. He's asking me a while ago to car pool with our officemate. But too unfortunate that he'll not be passing by our area today. He just then told me to wait for him.

I thought... it would not take this long. I'm now too tired and hungry. Sometimes I wonder... what does he prioritize?!. Kainis.

Actually, a visitor from Bangladesh was talking to him awhile ago and telling him to go home. He told him had been working so hard and he need some time off and socialize. But... he didn't listen. He said that he doesn't have a choose coz his boss will kill him. I just wonder how? He's so far from here (INDIA).

Sorry for this ranting. I just wish that I'll not faint of hunger... sign...

Credit Worries

There are times that we may need to make a loan to buy our dream home, dream car or even dream business. There would also be time that we will need a personal loan . The problem will arise if we have a poor credit. Many credit providers don't give loans to individuals with poor credit. Good credit standing is like a passport for us to get the loan we need.

However, there is a new website that provides loan opportunities for those with good and even bad credits. They offer instant processing on all loans. They also provide the chance to compare the best credit cards which meet our needs. We don't need to worry about this company because they were recognized as one of the leading online loan providers for those with bad credits. So what are you waiting for? If you need a loan now, go and check what they have to offer you.

Shopping Galore

After we attended Sophia's christening, hubby and I went to "Almost Christmas Bazaar" in St. James Ayala Alabang for another round of shopping. Hubby was able to buy 4 short sleeves polo from 2 different sellers. Total price was only 1000. I was also able to buy a nice blouse for only 400. See pix below.

We also got to buy some tapioca for gift and hubby's favorite "Taba ng Talangka" but was not able to take pix of these items.

Btw, the sellers in this bazaar are fewer compared to the "St. James Bazaar" but we're still able to see lots of good buys for gifts. Parang mas ok pa nga mamili in this bazaar coz it's not as crowded like the St. James'.

We're home at around 4pm... early... because hubby needs to work from home... hmmmp..

SUNDAY
We went to Pasig for Hubby's dental appointment with his sister. The rubber in his braces were changed. We also went to my parents house. I made lambing to my mom to cook some sopas. It was so good. Na-miss ko yata talaga ang sopas. I was able to finish a big bowl of it. Hehehe. We also went to a "manghihilot" because hubby's thumb was aching. But seems hubby was not satisfied with the "hilot". We left my parents house at 15minutes passed 2pm. Hinatid muna namin sister ko to her office in Libis before driving to SLEX.

Then... I met with Chona in St. James... to get my AMM Tote. It was nice for a 500 value. I love it. Hubby and I went to the bazaar again. We picked up the 1L of peppermint massage oil that we ordered. We will use some for gift and some for personal use. Naisipan namin ni hubby na mag-shop ulit. I was able to buy tshirts for gift and a sando for me. My sando is only 100pesos. Hehehe. Pix below - my sando, AMM tote and the 1L of massage oil.

From Alabang... we're home at almost 430pm. Hubby took a nap before we attended a mass at 5pm. After the mass, we also attended the Birthday/Thanksgiving party in our Church ( it was a fund raising party for the continuous construction of our parish church). We had fun watching the presentations done by different church groups.... Now... I'm already sleepy... will just finish this ...then I'll be sleeping. Night!

Online Backgammon

Online gaming is common nowadays. a lot of websites have been created for it. Hubby and I have been hearing of backgammon game and we were also advise that anyone can play backgammon online. We've seen the mister backgammon site and think that it is very user friendly and informative. The best thing is you can contact them for any query 24/7. As I was viewing their homepage, everything seems to be there - from getting started, affiliates, download, support, tournaments and details of online backgammon. It is indeed a complete site. You better check them.

I was so happy that her parents appreciated this. She is such a cute little girl.

Btw, was not scrapping lately but i was happy how this LO turned out. However, I was not able to take good pix of the LO. hehehe.

Bonding Time & Online Gambling

Nowadays, there are lots of things that can be done online. We can now do research, shop, bank, play and even do online gambling. I've already done all the things above except gambling online. I was never lucky in gambling but I can try my luck online. I got to see a website with a complete betting facilities. They have casino, sportsbook, interactive games and a dedicated online poker.

My husband plays poker with her cousins during family gatherings.I just watch them because I don't know how to play. I think it would be a nice bonding time for us if we play together online. We will definitely try this. There are other benefits of playing online like saving on transportation time and gas. We can also play in whatever attire we would want because we can play in our own home. It would definitely be fun. You too can try it.

Importance of Insurance

Recently, I have been conscious about personal finance management. I learned about insurance and investment. Insurance is not an investment but a protection. Having an insurance is a wise move because we don't know what can happen to us in the future. This will also give us peace of mind.

We just purchased our home two years ago thru government financing. It is a good thing that they automatically charge the home insurance. We have a 12 year old car and it has a TPL type of insurance.

Once we have fully paid our home loan, we will get a home insurance from a private provider. We also plan to buy a brand new car and get a comprehensive car insurance for it. But we need first to compare car insurance from different agencies so that we can choose what fits our criteria.

Lots of Coffee and a Planner

Got to see this planner from dessertcomesfirst website. I fell in love with it but... the "kuripts" in me is saying... this is just a want and not a need. 12 Tall Cups of Caramel Macchiato is equal to 1.5K PHP plus 12 cups of their xmas drinks. Diko yata kaya isama sa xmas budget ko. Besides... hubby doesn't want me drinking coffee (minsan payag pero dapat di lagi).

Let's say.... isama ko na lang sya sa wish list ko... How I wish.... marinig ni Santa. I know I've been naughty at times but I've been nice din naman eh.

I LOVE TO TRAVEL

I love to travel. I have dreamt of traveling since I was a kid. My dream vacation is in Europe. I was lucky to be in the company where I am working right now because I was given travels to California USA and Taiwan. I was also able to travel with my husband. Our first trip was for our honeymoon in Bangkok. Just this year, we were able to visit Hongkong. We found traveling fun and exciting. We would like to travel again in the near future. It could be in Singapore or in Hongkong Again.

Our first travel together was arranged by my husband's relative who has a travel agency while our travel to Hongkong was arranged by a different travel agency.

I have heard from some friends that online travel and Hotel Reservations are cheaper. I would like to try it on our next travel. Since my husband and I are already planning for our next travel, I tried visiting this site.

I found this site complete. They have everything that a tourist would need for their trip. They have the complete list of hotels, flight details, car rentals and vacation packages. They also have a complete destination for easy planning of trip. Group bookings are also available and they also give special group rates. They accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express Payment. The best part of their site is they offer a very low travel prizes. I will surely book my flights with them for our next travel.

THIS POST IS SPONSORED.

From THRILLianes to 1st Week of Xmas

Last Thursday was supposed to be fun because of the Friday Holiday. However, the attempted coup had brought some negative effect to the people. See my rantings in my previous blog entry.

But despite the chaos in Manila Pen, Ariel's group still went out for their planned outing (Pizzahut and Bowling). Their team was supposed to leave at exactly 6pm but as usual work gets in the way. I car pooled with one of his staffs to have the place reserved. However, we had some car problem. The windshield wiper broke many times. Allan needed to use a velcro as containment. Thanks to God that we're able to arrive in the venue safe and sound. On our way to the venue, we also received an SMS message from our friends/family of the curfew that was implemented and just announced that day. However, we really planned to go home @ 10:30am.

We had dinner in Pizzahut, Ariel have a vegetarian visitor so we have no choice again but to get a vege Pizza. Anyway... thanks to Palm Card. We were able to order 3 pizza's + 3 morefree. After dinner, we went to the bowling area. The staffs don't want to entertain us because of the curfew but we did a bargain that once the Ongoing Tournament finishes, we would also need to leave. The team had fun. However, the tournament finishes earlier so we were left with no choice but leave earlier. We only finished 1.6 game per player. Left the place @ 10:10pm. Hinatid pa namin ibang officemate sa Imus. Grabe, traffic sa Aguinaldo. Ngaps, more pictures here of the dinner and bowling.

Btw, before lunch I was so happy to learn that my orders from CX already arrived and hubby already arrived that we pick them up the next day.

FRIDAY - NOV 30'07
Woke up @ 8am. We left our home to Caloocan via Coastal road. Nawala kami nung nasa Caloocan na kami. But thanks to the people na napagtanungan namin. Yipee... I got my new Toys.

From Caloocan, hubby asked me where I want to have lunch. Then he saw Trinoma. Pero 'di us tumuloy kasi traffic. We just went to Megamall. Hubby bought me a simple earrings. Then, we had lunch in Yoshinoya. We also went to Craft world & SMILE. From SMile I was able to buy these items (2 rubber stamps for 50 each & a wood craft for 35 pesos).

Then we saw the GrassRoot Sale. I was able to buy 3 Small boxes for xmas gifts and a little box for organizing some of my scrap stuffs. Then, we went to SM Dept store to buy some more xmas gifts. Then, I saw a nice blouse in EDC and bought it on sale. Btw, Show below is the box I bought.
We also visited my parents house to bring some things for my siblings. From Pasig, we went home via SLEX. Buti na lang..di na masyado traffic. We ate dinner...then I started taking pix of my scrap stuffs for MARJ's RAK. Humabol pako pero di rin ako nanalo sa raffle. Better luck next time for me and Congrats to the winners. pix of my scrap stuffs here.

SATURDAY - DEC 01'07
We had breakfast in Mcdo Alabang because hubby was craving for it. Then we went to St. James Bazaar for another series of xmas shopping. We're there @ 9:30am. We shopped, had lunch and shopped again. Left the place @ 2pm. Dami ko na-shop na xmas gift hehehe. I also bought a new blouse (again).

From St. James...we went to ATC.... to shop again. Hubby was also looking for a cheaper Dart Pin 18gms but mahal lahat sila. I was able to buy more gifts then we had PM snaks in BK. After the snacks, binalikan namin yung mga items na di muna namin binili thinking na makakakita pa us ng iba.

We got home @ 5:30pm. I started wrapping gifts while hubby is scrapping... Yes. He is scrapping.. he was challenged with the album that we bought from rustans. He is trying to created his own version. Dinner lang ang pahinga namin. Sleep at past 12mn.

SUNDAY - DEC 01'07

woke up @ 8am becoz of hubby's alarm. He's wants to watch Dragon Ball Z. We had bfast. while watching TV. Then... I started wrapping gifts again. The only rest we had is lunch and the time to attend a mass. After the mass, we ate some kwek2 and kikiam outside the church.

Back at home, hubby scrapped again while I am still wrapping gifts. Grabe.. our house is a mess.

I just stopped when I ran out of gift wrappers. BTW, clearer pix of our messy and fixed area here. Went to bed passed 12mn again.

**** Grabe... xmas na xmas na! Advance Merry Xmas to ALL!!!

RANT

How I wish that I have scent immunity today.

Kainis. Di kaya niya naamoy sarili nya. Hmmp.

Umagang-umaga kanina...amoy na amoy na sya. May weekend naman... sana man lang naligo sya. We know malamig...pero may heater naman yung hotel.

Or pwedeng...nalito sya pero di nagpalaba ng damit....minsan kasi inuulit nila damit nila. Ewan ko ba.... babayaran naman ng company yung laundry fee sa hotel pero di pa rin sila madalas magpalaba. Buti sana if di sila nakaka-perwesyo. Kayo foul talaga eh.....

Hay.... I hope maligo sya bukas!!!!!

Our Garage Floor

Our house is not very new anymore. We're living in it for almost 2 years now. The garage floors in our village during turn over are concrete but it does not have any coating. Right now, we find it is not so nice to look at. It looks stained by oil, charcoal and water. We would like to change it to ceramic tiles but we still need to have our terrace done.We hope to have it fix in the next couple of years.

TAG for BIRTH MONTH

Me-anne just tagged me.

Instructions:
1. Mention the person who tagged you and create a link back to them.
2. Copy-paste the traits for all the twelve months (see below).
3. Pick your month of birth.
4. Highlight the traits that apply to you.
5. Tag 12 people and let them know by visiting their blogs and leaving a comment for them.
6. Let the person who tagged you know when you've done it!

Here's my birth month below:

JULY: Stubborn and hard-hearted. Ambitious and serious. Loves to teach and be taught. Always looking at people’s flaws and weaknesses. Likes to criticize. Hardworking and productive. Smart, neat and organized. Sensitive and has deep thoughts. Knows how to make others happy. Quiet unless excited or tensed. Rather reserved. Highly attentive. Resistant to illnesses but prone to colds. Romantic but has difficulties expressing love. Loves children. Loyal. Has great social abilities yet easily jealous. Very stubborn and money cautious.

The highlighted and indented text is what I know of me and what some people see of me. I am a bit of serious but kwela din at times. Some say that I am hardworking but I would preferred working smartly. I am typically silent and just write my random thoughts in my blog or in a piece of paper. It's true that I have difficulty of expressing how I feel because I like being reserved. I just learned that I am money cautious although there are times that I can be a wise spender and an impulsive buyer.

Hmmm, now Im tagging Knoll, Gwen Gian, Christine V. , Jenn, Ria, Iris, Liza, Ela, Joy, Zabeth, Maybs and Alby.

Blogging in PayPerPost

I have been hearing of paid blogging long time ago but did not try working on it. I was not into blog earning before but lately I found it useful and fun. I was able to do the write about things I love and earn from it. I been blogging since 2005 and never thought that I can make money from it. This is the reason why I got hooked about it since I started reading about it. Now, I also understand why my friends are so excited about it.

I have learned about Payperpost thru aggies blog. Then I went to its site and got interested. I registered immediately. Then, I just waited for 2 days before my blog was finally approved. I can now do blog advertising and make money out of it. Actually, I am already excited about the money that I'll be getting. I am also into scrapbooking and the money that I can make on blog advertising can be used for my online purchases of scrapbooking materials. I would also want to buy things in Ebay like books, bags and electronic gadgets. And since payment is made thru Paypal account, I would not need to use my credit card. My purchases would be safe and secured.

So what are you waiting for? Sign up in PayPerPost, start blog advertising , keep those fingers typing, voice out your opinion, blog about the things you love, get paid and be happy.

Torn

Have heard the news today about Trillianes group and I am having a mixed emotion. You can call what you want to call me but I don't know the real score or the true story. I am not aware of what Trillianes group are fighting for.

All I can say is that... recently.... I was happy hearing that Philippine economy is booming. Investors are coming in. And this would mean... more jobs to our unemployed countrymen.

Prizes, Prizes, Prizes!!!!

Are you familiar with auction? If not, as per wikipedia, an auction is the process of buying and selling goods by offering them up for bid, taking bids, and then selling the item to the winning bidder. It is a method for determining the value of a commodity that has an undetermined or variable price. This kind of bidding is also being practice in Ebay where the highest bidder gets the item as per the bid amount.

However, I find this cool site where the lowest unique bidder becomes the winning bidder. It is an online auction game but this is somehow different to the known method of bidding. It is like a Sweepstake where prizes are so cool. Free gifts ranges from Apple I-Phone’s, HDTV’s, Designer Bags, SCION XB’s and even Cash Prize. You can play the game online and even on your mobile phone. Playing and winning is as easy as 1-2-3. You just need to pick or find a prize, play and win. So what are you waiting for? Join me in checking this cool site and let's all grab a prize.

A Simple Birthday Card for my WV Sponsored Child

While hubby and I are writing a letter for each of our sponsored child last Friday, I've seen that mine will be celebrating her birthday on Dec.18. Thus, I have thought of creating this card for her. I just hope that she'll like it.

Already brought this to WV booth last Saturday. Unfortunately, according to them, she might not receive it before her birthday. But better late than never. It's the thoughts that counts. :-)

RECAP of my Last 3 Weeks

Got so busy lately and was not able to update this blog. For a short RECAP.

FRIDAY - NOV.9'07
My BIL Roy (Hubby of Ariel's Ate) Birthday in Cubao.
We left the office @ 6pm (supposed to be 5pm).
The culprit: Hubby's work!!!!
Took Coastal Road, Macapagal Road and Edsa.
What can I expect???? Of course... non other than but a FRIDAY heavy traffic!!!
We arrived in the place at almost 9pm.
We had our dinner... dami handa... yummy.
We listened to the wentuhan.
Some kinda OP with the wentuhan.
Hubby and I seldom attends family gathering from their side because of our location (South)
Most of his relatives are from the Middle Part of GMA.
They often have gimiks that we can't join.
Maybe this is also the reason why sometimes... they just don't invite us. Hehehe.
After some wentuhan.. the Poker Session began.
Hubby joined the rest of his cousins with the game.
I'm not a card player thus I only watched TV while chatting with her other relatives.
Hubby got kicked out at passed 11pm.
Wentu-wento ulit.
Left Cubao..passed 12mn.
Took C5, SLEX and Daang Hari on our way home.
No traffic anymore!

SATURDAY - NOV.10'07
Woke up a little late to catch some more sleep.
Hubby brought Chinchin to a nearby "talyer" for her Change Oil, Tune-up and some Repair. She was pampered that day... Hubby also gave her a car and engine wash. This was long overdue. And The damage for everthing...~4k.

While hubby was with Chin, I was organizing my stuffs for the PS EB / Garage Sale. I am selling some of my unused stuffs. Our room was a total mess. Good thing that I was able to fix it after 3hours.

Hubby and I also watched "Wish ko lang". Sorry for the shameless plugging. But I really got teary eyed when they started showing the story of Mariannet. I feel for the family especially for her little brother. She killed herself. And the one that triggers it... is a 100pesos that she needs for her school project. It was really sad. I've read the news few days ago and was really affected. Some people really have some and some have lots. And sometimes... we forgot to treasure what we have. However, I do hope that the story of this little girl serves as a lesson to all of us. Most of us or all of us who can read a blog are blessed. We should be able to share those blessings to those in need. Let's not have another Mariannet. This is another shameless plugging. But if you can spare at lessP450 a month, please do so and sponsor a child to school thru World Vision. Thank you in advance.

Back to the recap...
After the show, we went to SM Molino to do some grocery shopping and then attended an anticipated mass.

SUNDAY - NOV.11'07
Attended an Aero Class at 6:30am.
PS EB/Garage Sale
We arrived in Crisanta Tower @ 9:30am
Au's Area was already set-up.
Jeannie is already there.
The early birds are already shopping.
I started fixing my table.
It was so easy, I only have few items to sell.
- some used and unused items.
The foods are flooding. They are so yummy.
The BTIC was also delicious. Thanks to Candy.
Shortly after lunch, the mini album demo by Mitch started.
Her works are so cool.
There were lots of demos too.. photography and photoshop.
Unluckily, I was not able to see it... why... i don't know either. Hehehe.

This EB was successful. Got to see old faces and LOTS of new faces. Also, was able to gives faces to the familiar names from the forums and "multiply contacts".
The EB ended at 5pm. I was able to sell about 25% of my items. Not bad though! It's still a blessing!
However...still planning to take pictures of them..baka merong maging interested to buy. Hehehe.
Btw, from there, we also visited my parents and had dinner there.
We left just after dinner.... so tired....

LAST WEEK
Busy busy week although.. I was able to have some hair treatment last TUESDAY.

THURSDAY - NOV. 15'07
We had an All Employees Meeting. Got some good news and not so good news like: a. we'll not have a xmas party but will have a thanksgiving party next year. This is to avoid shutting down the plant in the year end. The gossip that we'll not be having our yearly xmas package is not true. We will still be having it and we are expecting it on the 17th of December. Our company is not losing so much money. As per our VP, we are swimming with cash. This is a good sign because we have invested some in our company's stock thru our "Employees Stock Plan Purchase Program".
After work, we had a dinner party in Palms Country Club. It is only for the Product Engineering Group and other departments' directors, leads and engineers. We had fun. More wento and pix here.

FRIDAY - NOV.16'07
We treated our visitor from the US for a Pizzahut Dinner and Bowling in Robinson's Imus. He is a vegetarian, so we have no other place to go but Pizzahut.

Unfortunately... hubby was not able to join us. Call of Duty. Again. And on a Friday again. I am beginning to hate Fridays!!!! I was expecting that he can catch up even for the bowling. he called me past 10am. He's still in the office. I just car pooled with our visitor going home. He's staying in Vivere Alabang. I was supposed to ask his driver to drop me inside our village but he looks so "sungit". I just asked him to drop me off in front of our gate. I was a little mad about everything that time. I hate walking at night in our street. It was some kinda dark and there were barking dogs. But I was still blessed.... no barking dog this time. I was expecting that hubby is already home, but ..... he's not. I left my key in the house. So I woke up our help to open the door and gate for me. I was getting so disappointed. I was home @ 11pm. I was able to watch bubble gang and some of Emergency. I fell asleep while waiting for hubby. He got home passed 3am. I was so tampo that I pretended to be sleeping.

SATURDAY - NOV.17'07
As if nothing happens although I have a headache. Hubby told me that I have a slight fever. We ate bfast together. Slept more until 3pm. Had lunch/PM Snak. Went to BDO in SM Molino. Had dinner in Chowking - Congee and Tofu (food for the sick). Before going to bed, just checked emails and listed my xmas gift list for our divi trip the next day.

SUNDAY - NOV. 18'07
Left home @ 545am. Parked in 168Mall.
We're lucky, still lots of parking slots @ 7am.
We met with my mom and sisters in Divi Mall.
We bought a lot of bargained toys. Buena Mano kasi.
>From Divi Mall, we went back to 168 Mall to place the toys in the car.
Then, we started shopping again in 168. Able to buy bags, wallets, gift items and lots of other things. All for a very low price. We had our lunch at the 3rd floor. Hubby ordered from "Chopsticks and Spoon". Hubby like their style because they cook the food in front of you. He ordered Yangchow Fried Rice, Salted Fish Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet, Garlic Spareribs, Crispy Noddles and Siomai. Parang Fiesta noh? We are so full. Hubby didn't thought that the rice serving was so large. They told him that it is good for 2 to 3 person but it's like 4 to 5. We're not able to finish them all. Good thing that we can take them home. They have given us plastics for the leftovers.

After lunch... so shopped for some more. We left divi passed 1pm. Chinchin was so full. Each one of us (me, mom and my 2 sisters) carried bags on our lap. Super dami kasi naming nabili hehehe. We arrived in Pasig at almost 2pm. We left after some time. Buti na lang.... walang traffic sa SLEX. Was so tired. At home, I fixed the items we bought in a corner. Don't want to place them yet below our xmas tree coz they're not yet wrap. We took a shower before attending a mass at 5pm. After dinner.... just checked mails and some websites before going to sleep. Slept a little earlier because of headache. Hubby... doesn't want to sleep yet... he's surfing the net and watching TV.

MONDAY - NOV.19'07

LQ kami ni hubby the night after because of the sleeping ekek. But we still ate lunch together in KFC after we went to the bank. After work, hubby told me he wanted to eat out because "di pa kami bati". We ate in our favorite Chinese Resto near our work. (Trivia: Madalas kami kumain dun pag nag-aaway kami. Hehehe). It's like fiesta. Hubby ordered Meduim Size Cold Cuts, Polonchay Soup, Lechon Macao, Yang Chow Fried Rice and Cuapao. Yummy ...yummy. We 're so full. We took home the leftover which is a lot. hehehe.

At home, mukhang bumabawi. He didn't worked at home. Another, hehehe. Btw, Monthsary pala namin that day. It was our 32th.

TUESDAY - NOV.20'07
Just another ordinary working day. We're supposed to go bowling. But hubby was busy again. Sigh....

WEDNESDAY - NOV.21'07
Another BZ day for hubby. I juz car pooled with an officemate going home. At Home, I did 1.5 LO for some friends in US. Hubby got home past 10am. We ate dinner together. He's so tired. I continue to scrap while he's watching TV. I slept @ 1130pm (early sleeper ako eh.. or in short.. antukin. hehehe).

THURSDAY - NOV.22'07
The RED Flag is up. I had cramps... huhuhu.
Dinner treat of Chintan in Kuya Ian's Resto. We had buttered Shrimp, Calamares, Sinigang na Tanigue & Grilled Pork. Chintan had a different set of meal (He's a vegetarian). He had fried rice, Sitaw with Soy, Vegetable Curry and Crispy Kangkong. It was good that he enjoyed his food.

After dinner... we had some sing-a-long...still inside the resto. It was really fun. At 1st, Chintan...doesn't want to sing. According to him.. he doesn't sing. But after some bottle of beers and maybe because of the cheering and happy crowd.. he was able to sing few lines of the Doobidoo by Kamikazee. He sang the line... "Heto na... heto na... ahhhh..Doo bi doo bi doo bi doo bi doo. Doo bi doo bi doo bi doo ahh.." But that was in a different diction. Hehehe. The party ended at 10:30pm... because we still have work the next day. hehehe.

However, at home... I still finished the 8x8 LOs for my friends in US becuase I need to give it to Chintan the next day. He's leaving to US on Saturday. Here's a peek those LOs I did.

FRIDAY - NOV. 23'07
Lunch out with Ariel's Group. Again... in Kuya Ian's resto. This time we had... inihaw na liempo, adobong pusit, calamares and sinigang na tanigue. We are so full.

After work, we left the office at 5:45pm although it was supposed to be 5pm. We went to our Fertility Manghihilot. According to her, my ovary is now in good condition. We just need to keep on praying and trying.

>From there, hubby and I decided to do our grocery shopping before going home. We also went to ACE Hware to buy an extension cord.

We had dinner while watching TV. Then... I started fixing the things that we need to bring the next day to my parents house.

SATURDAY - NOV.24'07
Hubby woke up at 4:45am. Waah. We're supposed to wake up at 5am. Sayang ang 15mins. (antukin talga noh?). We had hotdog bfast before taking a bath. We left the house at 5:45am. We arrived in Pasig at 6:30am. However, we left my parents house @ 7pm to go the Saturday Tiangge in Pasig Palengke. We were able to shop for a lot of good buys. The clothes are cheaper there compared to Divi. There were shirts at 25pesos each and shorts for 20pesos each. There were also blouses that sells in divi for 250each and being sold there for only 170pesos. Cheaper right? So the verdict..... for cheaper clothes... go to Pasig Palengke Saturday Tiangge (all year round but only every saturday from 6 to 12nn) but for other items like bags, wallets, watches, other abubots.... need to go to DIVI.

We're back to my parents' house @ 10am. We had our nail done. Then had lunch. At 1pm... we visited the dentist for my denture repair. Then we visited the jewelry shops around the place..trying to shop for an earring... but we didn't see anything that tickled our fancy. We're back to my parents' house at 2pm. We just changed clothes before leaving for Megamall with my siblings. I was already not feeling well that time. Encountered a little traffic. But we were able to park easily. Thanked God. Our 1st destination was the booth of WV to give our pledge. Then we went to SM dept store to buy xmas shoes of my youngest bro and sister. Hay...tagal nila pili. Siguro kasi...already informed them of the budget. Meron sila nagugustuhan but way beyond our budget. They needed to be trained on proper spending. Good thing... that they were able to find something that is within a budget. My mom and other sister...came at around 4:30pm. Megamall is undergoing renovation so I needed to pay for the shoes before we can go out to look for my silblings pants/shorts. We're not able to see a good one in SM dept store so we went to Cinderella. There.... we were able to see pants and shorts that are nice and within the budget. Medyo matagal and sukatan... and I am already having a headache. At 7pm... we had dinner in Pizzahut. We ordered the meal for 4, additional 3 drinks, spag with meatballs & family size 3-sausage pizza. We also took advantage of the coupon that my sis have.... 2 mushroom soup and ceasar salad. I thought we can't finish them all. Parang ang dami kasi... but...we did. Hehehe. Parang nagutom kaming lahat. My mom want to watch the " one more chance" movie. We were not able to join them... I was really not feeling well. We separated at 8pm. Hubby would like to buy me earring. But Karat GOLD was already closed. Then we saw another Jewelry shop that is still open... hubby..wanted to buy the earring with diamonds... those were expensive... then the sales lady offer us an earring with a small diamond.. it cost around 4.5K.... The kurips in me stopped him... sabi ko pag-isipan muna namin.. baka maging impulsive buyer na naman us... Ayaw ko na masyado charge sa Credit Card.... Inuubos na kasi namin utang namin dun..... for financial independence. Hehehe.

We got home few minutes before 10pm. I was half asleep the whole trip. I just washed my face before going to bed. Sabi ni hubby...plastado daw ako.. Di na maka-usap ...Wala nako ma-blog about that night kasi wala na rin ako matandaan... hehehe.

SUNDAY - NOV.25'07
Was sick. Hubby prepared bfast for me. He woke me up at around 8:30am. I am still sick that time. I just eat and went back to our room. I opened my PC for awhile....then I felt my eyes burning so I slept again. Hubby...woke me up again @ 12nn for lunch. He asked our help to cooked Sinigang na Pata. It was good. Then....as usual... after lunch.. I slept again. Sobrang Nanghihina talaga ako. Hubby slept with me. He got tired also cleaning our "Chinchin". Sya daw muna maglilinis dahil di masyado nalilinis sa mga carwash shop.

We woke up @ 4:15pm to prepare for the 5pm mass. We went to mass with our help. We're supposed to go to SM Molino... but... di ko pa kaya... kaya uwi na lang us ulit. Hubby....prepared grilled salmon for me (one of my favorites).... Sarap. Hehehe.

Medyo ok nako after dinner so I fixed my things for work the next day before going to bed. Hay. Wala ako nagawa the whole day... But was really thankful for having a very undestanding and caring Hubby who took care of me the whole day.....

MONDAY - November 26'07
I have colds and headache. Sigh... Hubby received a blessing....Thanks God! We just ate at home since both of us are not feeling well. But still... I created a LO for the Kaya7 PS Challenge which is in my previous post.

Finally... a new 12x12 LO

Finally... after hibernating for almost a month.... I was able to create a 12x12 LO for Pinoy Scrapbookers Kaya7 Challenge. I got an inspiration last week but didn't used it due to lack of time. Just browsed a mag after dinner today and finished my entry for almost 3hours. The pix might not have a relation with the overall design but I like its simplicity. I am happy with it because I love all the colors in it....black,white and RED.

RED FLAG

It is up up there or down down there. Hahaha.
But it's ok.

I've learned to accept and laugh over it.
We know... that the right time will come...
Pwede ba sooner?! Wishful thinking lang. ;-)

What Happenned?

We don't know....
It suddenly dropped.

As per the chicka-chicka, it is because of the lifting of the tax exemption for the solar companies in the US. We are affected eventhough we are a semicon company because our company owns 50% of the Sunpower Corporation.

Now... we're just keeping our fingers cross that it will not go back to it's record low way back 2001.

Need Cash Advance Before the Next Payday?

There are inevitable circumstances where we will need an extra money or emergency cash. The savings that we have set aside every payday might not be sufficient to cover the need. I encountered this problem a number of times. In times like this, I sometimes borrow from our company's Cooperative, friends and family. I also have an option to do cash advance. Borrowing from friends and relatives are sometimes embarrassing. It is sometimes better to do short term loans thru banks and other lending firms.

Payday Loans are in-demand nowadays due to the number of people needing it. This is very useful for those who needs extra cash in between pay periods. It is a good alternative for selling personal assets in a lower market price, bouncing check and borrowing from other people. Applying for a cash advance online had been better and fast. The requirements had also been reduced. The best part of it is that, some firms like those in CashAdvance1500 deposit the funds directly to the checking account of the borrower. This makes borrowing easy and hassle free.

Payday Loans when used in the right way, can help solve short term financial needs effectively and efficiently. It is the user or borrowers' responsibility to manage his financial portfolio. However, this site can help them.If you're one of them, go and visit the site now.

Now add up your points and find out the answer you have been waiting for!

Put your character in the subject line and forward to your friends and back to the person that sent this to you.

Very interesting to see ‘who’ your friends are!

(10-16 points) You are Garfield :
You are very comfortable, easy going, and you definitely know how to
have fun but sometimes you take it to an extreme. You always know what
you are doing and you are always in control of your life. Others may
not see things as you do, but that doesn’t mean that you always have to do what is right. Try to remember, your happy spirit may hurt you or others.

(17-23 points) You are Snoopy:
You are fun, you are very cool and popular. You always know what’s i n
and you are never are out of style You are good at knowing how to
satisfy everyone else. You have probably disappeared for a few days
more than once but you always come home with the family values that you learned Being married and having children are important to you, but
only after you have had your share of fun times

(24-28 points) You are Elmo:
You have lots of friends and you are also popular, always willing to
give advice and help out a person in need. You are very optimistic and
you always see the bright side of things. Some good advice: try not to
be too much of a dreamer. Dreaming too big could cause many conflicts in
your life.

(29-35 points) You are Sponge Bob Square Pants:
You are the classic person that everyone loves. You are the best friend that anyone could ever have and never wants to lose. You never cause harm to anyone and they would never not understand your feelings. Life is a journey, it’s funny and calm for the most part. Stay away from traitors and jealous people, and you will be stress free.

(36-43 points) You are Charlie Brown:
You are tender, you fall in love quickly but you are also very serious
about all relationships. You are a family person. You call your Mom
every Sunday. You have many friends and may occasionally forget a few
Birthdays. Don’t let your passion confuse you with reality.

(44-50 points) You are Dexter:
You are smart and definitely a thinker… Every situation is fronted
with a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strong
family principles. You maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad
situation when it comes. Try to do less over thinking every once in a
while to spice things up a bit with spontaneity!

Now don’t spoil it! Have some Fun!!

Nursing Home

I must admit I hate being sick. It limits me on doing the things I normally do aside from the fact that I need to take different medicines. But I know that whether we like it or not, all of us will get sick, no matter how we avoid it.

I believe that planning for the future is needed. When I get old and sick, I would like to be taken care of inside our home. I also believe that we should all start looking for a care home as early as now. But we should know first what kind and type of care we would like to have. Our present illness or family history can also be our basis as to the type of care we will be needing. It is better to be safe and protected rather than be sorry. Setting a budget for this is recommended.

Hair Treatment atbp.

We left the office a little earlier than usual. Hubby was so eager to have my hair done. I told him few weeks ago about my plan of having a hair treatment because of my severe failing hair and very dry hair. The last treatment I had was February before our HK trip.

The plan was to have it done once we receive our bonus. However, hubby seems not used to have money inside his wallet (he is used in giving me all his php - I do the planning and spending. But I didn't get money from his collection this week).

I would not to have my hair done this early but he was just so exited about it.

So we went to Index Salon in Dasma Cavite. This is the same place where I had my hair rebonded for only 2k last January. I was advise that I should take the Loreal Power dose treatment for 1.1K (needed 2 bottles for my long hair). It was good after all. I was so satisfied with the result. The scalp massage was also so relaxing. I gave the "parlorista" a fair tip.

When we got out of the parlor, I saw a man selling "mangga't bagoong" (my favorite). I bought one and was not able to control myself....I ate it inside the car. Yummy.

Now... hubby is working at home again. This is also the reason why I was able to open my PC and blog. Hehehe.

Quiet

Been quiet lately. Busy lang. Need to speed some quality time with hubby. Di sya masyado work ngayon at home kaya di rin ako masyado gawa ng mga personal stuffs ko.

Btw, please drop by my other blog to see my random thoughts.

Growing Old

I believe that we have to treasure every day of our life. All of us will grow old. I still remember my childhood, grade school and college days. I used to dream what I want to be when I finish school. I have my wish list. Many years already passed. Some of my wishes came true some didn't. But even today, I still have my wish list. It keeps growing. But sometimes, I stop and think about me and my husband. When we get old and get sick, who would take care of us?

Life is tough nowadays. Every minute counts. Time is moving so fast. We would never know what could happen the next day. I believe that as early as now (although I think, it is already late), we should think of how we would like to be taken care of when we get old. Looking for nursing homes should be part of our plans for the future. We should also know what kind and type of care we would like to have or would need in order for us not to be a burden to our children.

Car Insurance

We don't know what can happen to us in the future. This is why we need to invest and be insured. We have to insure our life, our home, our children's education, our retirement and even our vehicles. But we need to remember that insurance is not an investment but a protection of our future. Another point is that we need to ensure that we are not over insuring our properties. We should consider their depreciation.

Right now, we own a Home and a 10 year old Car which are both insured. We also plan to buy a brand new car in the future. We'll sure get an insurance for it. But before doing that we would need to compare all the available insurance providers. This is to Lower Your Car/SUV Insurance. It would be better if we can get an Insurance Quotes Online. I know how to drive a manual transmission car but I am not a good driver yet. Thus, we would also like an insurance provider that offers Poor Driver Auto Insurance Rates. A sports car is part of my wish list. If we will be lucky, we would also want an insurance provider that have Coverage For Sports Car. Bottom line, our requirement is an Insurance Provider that offers a complete coverage at a competitive cost.

Pay Day Loans

There are times that no matter how we budget our finances, there would be emergencies or unforeseen cost that we need face and pay before the next pay day. It is therefore suggested that we keep some money separate from our regular savings account that can be used as an Emergency Fund.

Most of the time, payday money just come and go. Monthly budgeting is suggested but there are some circumstances that are inevitable. The next payday could be some more days away. Worst case is, it could be 30 days away. In times like this, and if we don't have an emergency fund, we can ask for help from family members or friends. However, there would be times, that they can't help us. Good thing that there are already companies that offer salary loans. There are also some that offers Faxless Payday Loans where your loans can be approved easily and funds will be deposited directly to your bank account the next banking day. Easy right?! So the next time that you'll need to bridge your cash needs between pay days, just remember that help is just around. You just need to search and click.

Something to Look forward To

Finally... after more than 7 years, after the 9/11 bombing, after the recession, we are seeing some light. It still pays to to wait and be patient.

The US Market is beginning to rise from the long sleep. Hope this will also bring a positive effect to the Philippine Market. (Pwera Usog. Hehehe.)

Hubby got his gift from his "Ate".
Chicka Chicka while watching Kapuso Channel.
Hubby got a phonecall from his bestfriend who just got back from Japan after a 2.5month assingment there.
We left @ 10pm and drove straight to ANGONO RIZAL to fetch his bfriend. He and his GF will be spending a night in our home for their vacation in Sonya's Garden the next day.
I thought, they are both in Angono...pero hindi pala. Waah.
We still need to go to Solis, Manila (TONDO).I'm a little sleepy na that time buti na lang wala na masyado traffic.
From Solis, we took Roxas then Coastal Road going back home.
Got home (CAVITE) @ 1:am.
Able to sleep @ 2pm , we still had some wento wento.
Was so tired ... parang nalibot namin buong Manila. Our travel time was longer compared to the time we stayed in one place. Yet, we enjoyed every moment of it.

SATURDAY

Woke up @ 6:30am
Left home @ 8am.

Reached Sonya's Garden @ 9am.
Ariel treated us for Breakfast. It was our 1st time in the place. The breakfast was good. We had hot cocoa drink, mushroom omelet, Boneless Bangus, Pork & Chicken Adobo, Fried Rice and Mango for Dessert.

After breakfast, we had some pix taking while strolling the place.
At 11am Ariel got the keys to their room. It was a nice cozy room with 4 beds.. too much for the 2 of them. It was nice but the smell of the kitchen below can be smelled inside their room.
We left them passed 11:30am. There was heavy traffic near RESIDENCE INN and Tagaytay Crossing.

Hubby and I are still full for a lunch but we still tried Carlo's Pizza. It was good but I don't like much their crust. It taste like a Shawarma patty. I still preferred Yellow Cab and/or Shakey's Pizza.
We took out coffee from Starbucks before finally driving home.
Reached home few minutes before 2pm. We're so sleepy and took a Siesta. We woke up @ 6pm.
Hubby cooked Shabu-shabu for dinner without the recommended powdered soup. We just used Chicken cubes to taste.
After dinner, we cleaned our room then I started working on my Visual Creation Hambly Prints Challenge Entry. Able to finish 2 simple LOs (OPEN ur EYES & HOBBY of Hubby) in a rush.
Able to go to bed pass 12am since I still need to ligpit my kalats.hehehe.

SUNDAY

Not able to get up @ 6am for my aero class. Slept till 9am.
Had bfast. Tried the CD we bought from Greenhills. Our player was not seeing all the tracks (should be 2500 tracks but it is only seeing 999 tracks). Tried it also on a player. It is worse. It's only seeing 600+ tracks.
Hmmm... I think we really need to buy a MAGIC MIC or the MEGABOX Karaoke player.
Hubyy played TONG-ITS with Ate Nena while I am surfing and blogging.Hehehe...
Attended Mass @ 5pm.
Bought Kikiam, Squid Balls and Ihaw-ihaw sa kanto.
Ate them all for dinner @ home while watching TV.
Was still sleepy so we slept early.. about 9pm.

*** We had a very long and tiring weekend but it was a JOYRIDE!

Shopping Cart Software Provider

I buy and sell items online. I find it easy and convenient. Currently, I use ebay. I still want to go into a real business but I can't do it right now because I have a full time job (8am to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays). I still enjoy my job and I still don't have any plans of leaving it. However, I would still like to earn more to be able to have some spare money that I can use for my hubby and my "wants". I am considering putting up an online store although, I still don't know what product to sell.

But before that, I would like to shop for a Shopping Cart Software that would meet my requirements. I would like a user-friendly website. The software provider should be able to meet my expectation in terms of features and overall look of my planned online store. I hope ASHOP should be able to answer my needs and wants.

Online Gambling

Nowadays, a lot of things can be done online. You can sell items, buy items, trade stocks, apply for a credit or debit card and even gamble. I am not fond of gambling but I would still like to try it. However, I want to do it online. Online gambling have many advantages. It can saves us gas and time. We can gamble anytime we want in our home or in any place that has an internet connection. But finding the best online facility or website would be a little difficult. Every one of us would like a one-stop-shop or a betting website that have it all.

Bet365 can answer all our requirements. They have a wide range of online betting facilities from sports, casino, poker , interactive game and much much more. It also have a secured online environment to its clients. You would not worry about the security of your accounts which are also very manageable in their site. I just checked their site and I was satisfied. You better check it out too.

Hubby's Birthday

Two saturdays ago was hubby's Birthday. It was his 30th. We had a simple party although he doesn't want to have one. I insisted that we do it because it is his 30th.

It was a very simple party. Most of the foods are easy to prepare like:
1. Rellenong Bangus - bought from our suking tindahan in Pasig
2. Inihaw na Liempo - grilled by our help.
3. Kalderetang Baka - ordered from our officemate.
4. Crispy Batikulon for Pulutan - ordered from our officemate
5. Fruit Salad - prepared by yours truly
6. Pansit - cooked by Dad
7. Hotdog with Mallows on stick for the kids - prepared by manang.
8. Eggplant - fried by manang
9. Puto Pao - bought from Pasig
10. Chicken Lollipop and Lumpiang Shainghai - contributed by Ariel's sisters. Cooked in our home.
11. Drinks - Coke, Coke Light, Pepsi Diet, Pepsi Max, Nestea Ice tea (concentrate) in a water jag.
12. Chocolate cake from Goldilocks.

Most of the grocery items that we'll be needing were bought the week before the party. But Friday before the party, we need to take a half day off to go to Pasig and get some items that we'll be needing.

We left the office @ 1230pm. Just drove thru Mcdo for our lunch. Hubby had quarter pounder and I had nuggets and spaghetti. We took coastal road. We're lucky that there's no traffic. However, there's a slow moving traffic in Pasay Rotonda. It irritates me. I am not used to heavy traffic anymore since we moved to Cavite. Btw, Hubby and I are supposed to go to ATC before going to Pasig but an officemate car pooled with us. He's going home to Bulacan. We just decided to go Megamall instead so we can drop him there. But when we're in Pasay Rotonda, he decided to just go down and take the MRT. I saw an ad in the MRT that Megamall is having a 3-DAY sale. I told hubby that I am having 2nd thoughts of going to Megamall. While he's still driving a thought of going to Glorietta passed by me but I didn't entertain it because of traffic. It was 2pm that time. When we are in Guadalupe, hubby got a text message that bombing happened in Glorietta. We still can't believe the news. Then, another same SMS came from our previous boss. We then believed it. We're thankful that we didn't went to Glorietta.

We reached my parents house in Pasig @ 3:30pm. We're still able to have a glimpse of the news about the bombing. It is so scary. We left @ 4:30pm.

We took SLEX going back Home. We went to ATC before heading home. We dropped by 88 STORE to buy a 12x12 paper organizer and a cork board. Then we shopped for hubby's birthday shirts. Hubby saw the WORLD VISION booth near Guess. Hubby is already sponsoring a child. It's now my time, so I signed up. I would like to buy a gift for hubby without him knowing but he doesn't want to let go of me. So I just accompanied him to Olympic Village. He was eyeing for a footware there before but he doesn't want to buy it. I asked him to just look for whatever that will please him and it will be my gift. He saw a nice sandals from Merrell. It was on sale-20% off, I think. We bought it and had our Dinner in North Park before going home.

At home, I prepared the salad and somehow clean the house before sleeping.

SATURDAY - HUBBY's BDAY
I woke up @ 6pm for my aero class. hubby woke up @ around 8am to watch his fav Dragon Ball on TV. It was such a busy morning. hubby went to hardware after bfast to buy some electrical stuffs for the lights that he plan to set up for the TENTs. I got sleepy and took a nap. Fews minutes later, the tents, chairs and tables and videoke arrived. Still... i have nothing to do. hehehe. Hubby set-up the lights.

Saw daddy cooking a HUGE CRAB. He said that ariel bought it for me. Such a sweet gesture from hubby. it's his bday but he still managed to surprise me with my favorite dish. After few hours of preparation, we had our lunch @ 11am. We also invited our neighbors for the party in the night. Dad started cooking pansit while Manang started grilling the liempo. Mom and Popoy arrived @ 2pm. We took a bath @ 3pm. I went to SM Molino with Mom to buy some ICE and cake. Another driving experience for me. I seldom drive lately because I am in T-MODE. Hehehe. We went to the grocery. Good thing that the line for paying in the cashier was short. We went to Goldilocks. Unfortunately, there are only 2 cakes remaining - a choco marble and a chocolate cake. The lady beside me bought the choco marble so I am left with no choice but to buy the Chocolate cake.

When we got back home, my in-laws are already there. We started preparing the buffet table. Few minutes later @ around 5pm the Tigas family came. Served the kids some hotdogs on stick. Good things we were able to make some for the kids. The invite says 6pm. Guest started arriving pass 6pm. Guests started serving themselves. Guests continue to arrive. Mostly are our officemates. We were expecting some relatives of Ariel but none arrived. Only his sisters and BILs. I just don't know if hubby was disappointed. But I think, our fault is we didn't indicate in the text invite the "RSVP" thingy. Hehehe. Our nieghbors also came to party. We're happy that they accepted our invite ( we are not talking with them before. we just say hi and hello). We had our 1st talk. Hehehe. Nice to have new friends in the neighborhood. Sir Boyet (our previous boss, not connected with CML anymore) also came at around 8pm. Few minutes later, Fr. Ginu (our Parish Priest) also came. Most of our guests are surprise to know he's from India but speaks Tagalog fluently. Our guests started saying goodbye @ around 9pm.The last batch of guest left @ 11pm. There are lots of leftover foods. There are a lot of guests but still MANY didn't make it. Wala lang. Sayang ibang handa.. So what's next???? Cleaning time.. hehehe. Thanks to my family for helping out. Also thanks to Ate Nena and her friend (ate Mildred) for the help. We cleaned up @ 12mn. Sleeping time na. A very tiring but fulfilling day. See pix in this link.

SUNDAY
woke up @ 8am. Hubby watched Dragon Ball. Had bfast. Dad left @ around 11pm with his biker friends (they biked from Pasig to Cavite). At 1030am, everybody took a nap. We had our lunch/PM snacks @ 3pm. All of us attended a mass @ 5pm. After the mass, hinatid ni hubby mga Mom ko to Alabang. I waited for him at HOME for dinner kasi di na kami kasya sa CAR. hehehe. When he arrived, we just ate our dinner and took a rest.

We had a very tiring yet wonderful weekend.

Investment, Protection and Insurance

Many people say that we must live our life to the fullest because we don't know what will happen in the future. I believe in this but still, I think we should also plan for the future. There are a lot of ways of planning for the future. We can do investments and buy insurance. Investments can be placed in stocks, mutual funds and UTIF and/or other investment mediums. You just need to know your risk appetite before you do your initial investment.

On the other hand, we should also buy insurance. But take note that insurance is not an investment. It is a protection for the future. I do believe that protection needs to come first before investment. This is not just for us but for our family that we may left behind. In shopping for an insurance, one must list the insurance plans pros and cons. One insurance provider could be better on another in one type of insurance. We can never have all the good things in an insurance provider. The best approach to Lower Your Insurance Premium is to lay all the plans available compare and bargain with the provider. In this way, you can not just spend on protection but also Save Money on Insurance. Is it not good?
