We have a new Brother

Our 2yo 3in1 HP printer broke down few months ago. As per the repair center, we need to replace some parts. Hubby and I thought that it would be better to buy a new one because the cost of the replacement parts is almost equal to half the price of a brand new printer.

We've been scouting for a printer for months now. We've been delaying our purchase because of some priorities. However, last Saturday, we decided to buy a new one on 0% installment for 6 months. We bought a Brother Printer because it met all the features and functions we're looking for. It was not able to meet the dimension that I want but we think we can live with it. Also, it comes with a free 2G USB flash drive. We already tried it last weekend and last night and so far we are satisfied with it. We just hope that it will last a long time.

Whole Day OUTSIDE CAVITE

I am sleepy but I don't feel like sleeping. In just 30mins, we'll be preparing already for our gimiks today. i just thought of blogging.

Just as planned and expected, yesterday was a busy day. We spent the whole day outside CAVITE.

We left home @ 9:15am for the 10am appointment. However, there was a minor traffic in SLEX.We arrived in Greenhills @ 10:15am. Unfortunately, the agent came 20mins later. I was not piss because I am in the a good mood. Our talk was successful. I got all the details and information that we need. We'll just be meeting again next week to finalize everything. We're done talking @ 12nn.

Then... we went shopping. Shopping Galore na naman kami. Hehehe.
Below are the things that we bought:

Polos and Pshirt for Hubby

Blouses, Bolero and Fashion Bracelet for me

Samsung Wireless Optical Mouse for hubby

Bday gift for my cousin

We also bought a polo for Tito Ben's Bday - diko lang nakunan ng pix. Btw, we had our lunch in Yoshinoya. We just love their Beef Misono. We left Greenhills @ 3pm... now going to St. Lukes.

Tito Alfon of Ariel is getting better though they are having problems financially. If only we can help them more. Just praying for them. Also praying that they can soon sell their lots in Cubao and in Tarlac Anybody interested. Just PM me. These are really good buys.

From the hospital, we then go to Sta.Lucia. We're able to see Yellow Violet's House store though I didn't buy anything there. We just bought add'l present for Tito Ben inside the Dept. Store as well as a gift box from Papemelroti. I was also able to buy a red tagged (50% off) Capri from F&H.

Capri Pants with my Fashion Bracelet

Left the place @ 5:45pm. We arrived in Bahay Kawayan @ 6:30pm. No one is there yet. The dinner invitation was 7pm. Atat ba kami? No... we are just prompt and lucky. Lucky that there is no traffic. We thank the Lord that we didn't encounter heavy traffic that day. We don't know why. We are expecting heavy traffic because we know that Saturday is the most Traffic Day of the week.

The Bday celebrant and the other guests started coming @ 6:45pm. Some were really late due to heavy traffic in Floodway. There were lots of Yummy foods. Hubby ate a lot of Pritong Dalag. Wala kasing ganun sa Probinsya namin. Hehehe. Everybody was having fun. The kids were all hyper. The party was over @ 11pm and we got home @ 12mn. However, we're just able to sleep an hour later, we watched "Sine Totoo".

Today... hubby woke up early due to itchy throat. We had an early bfast so he can drink medicine. Now... he's sleeping. He need some rest but... we also have plans today... ayaw naman kasi papigil. Gusto daw nya mag-date kami. Hay. Just hope di sya mabinat and he get well soon.

Do you Accept Credit Cards?

Hubby and I have a total of 3 credit cards. We use them for straight and installment purchases. For straight charges, we ensure that we pay them immediately before the cut-off period so we will not be charged of interest. But this is not the point. The point of having a credit card is for convenience and security. We won't need to carry a huge amount of cash for big purchases. Robbers and pickpockets are just around the corner.

The use of credit card is normal in the US. The Philippines is still getting into it. It would be nicer if all the stalls in the malls are credit card accepting. Buyers would not need to fall in line in ATM machines just to get some cash to pay for their purchases.

I am also a great fan of EBAY and other online stores. I bought scrapbooking items and other personal stuffs from them. Some of them are only accepting Credit Cards on Website. Some accepts both credit cards and paypal payments. I am also planning of putting up an online store. I still don't know what will be my product. But I think, I'm going to get an Internet Credit Card Processor to serve a wider market. What do you think?

What Happenned?

We don't know....
It suddenly dropped.

As per the chicka-chicka, it is because of the lifting of the tax exemption for the solar companies in the US. We are affected eventhough we are a semicon company because our company owns 50% of the Sunpower Corporation.

Now... we're just keeping our fingers cross that it will not go back to it's record low way back 2001.

Something to Look forward To

Finally... after more than 7 years, after the 9/11 bombing, after the recession, we are seeing some light. It still pays to to wait and be patient.

The US Market is beginning to rise from the long sleep. Hope this will also bring a positive effect to the Philippine Market. (Pwera Usog. Hehehe.)
