71907 - 28th

Today is our 28th wedding monthsary.


We left the office early and decided to somehow celebrate the day. We ate in our favorite Chinese Resto near our office. It was a good dinner.


We had: Seaking Roll, Beancurd Roll, Yangchow Fried Rice, Kingbee Fried Chicken & Fish Fillet with Tausi.


Don't get me wrong, we we're not able to finish everything. We were still able to take home some rice, fish and chicken. We just can't order few, 'coz we love to taste different dishes. Hehehe.

Last Tueday

Hubby and I had some misunderstanding last Monday night. I didn't had enough sleep, my head ached and hubby just decided that we don't go to work the next day.

We're supposed to take a rest but we didn't. Instead, we went to a law office for the Affidavit of Loss that hubby needs for his SSS ID. He didn't lost the ID, it was lost in-transit or it was lost by our office. We didn't receive a notification that the ID arrived in our office. Then when we tried to re-apply in SSS, they said that it was mailed to our office. We asked our HR but they said that it was not there. Hay... saan naman kaya napunta yun noh? Wala na kaming magawa kaya, we just filed an AOL.

Then hubby insisted that I renewed my driver's license. It expired on my bday. Ayaw ko sana but sayang din naman yung leave namin. So kahit medyo masakit ulo ko. We still went to LTO-imus. The damage was: 250 for the drug test, 50 for the medical, 308 for the renewal (180 for license fee, 30 for late renewal, 30 for change record - change of address, name and marital status, 68 for computer fee). But in my dismay, I only got a tempo ID after all the INIP that i got. We're there @ 1030am but completed the whole process @ 3pm. Badtrip noh. Sabi ni hubby, dapat daw 2 hrs lang renewal. Hmmp! Kainis!

Buti na lang, hubby agreed that we pick up my purchases - already used my 20% discount gift from a supplier. These are what I got:

Was craving for pizza but was already sleepy. We just bought some street foods ( isaw, bulaklak, bato-bato) and ask ate nena to cook pansit canton for our PM snaks. After eating, we sleep and woke up @ 830pm to have our dinner and drink some medicines.

Just work for a few minutes before sleeping again. Got a terrible headache. Just ask hubby to put some efficascent oil on my forehead. Need to be well for the next day's work.

Am I sick or it is just normal?

I normally have headaches when I have few hours of sleep (less than 6 hours). Already consulted a doctor and told me that it was just a tension headache.

I remembered from an article that I read that as u get older, you would need less and less sleep. But why is less than 6 hours of sleep not working for me?

This headache is irritating and adds lines to my face. The pain is getting worst when i made a sudden move. Hay....

Treated some friends in Greenwich. Malling with hubby after work.Have some pix developed for my scrapbooking. Bought gift for Ariel's Inaanak who happens to have the same birthday with me. Hubby bought me Cream Puffs (one of my favorite pastries) and Patatim (one of my favorites also) which we ate at home.

Simple yet Happy Day. See here. Oh, forgot to add that after the mcdo lunch, hubby and I visited the Church near our office for our Thanksgiving prayer. Treated my friends for PM Snacks in our cafeteria. Also, got good news that hubby and I were included in the quarterly Perfect Attendance list... this means... bonus!

Hubby had a lunch date with our Director together with the other Team Leads of our department. Treated my co-workers whom I had lunch with. After work, SM Molino with hubby, did some RAK. Looked for a Dora Dress but failed. Just bought Dora books for my friends' daughter. Finished my LOs for our friends after dinner.

Friday the 13th pala. hehehe. Nothing unusual happened. Mushroom Burger Lunch c/o a leaving co-worker. He's transferring to Astech in Pasig. It was a good Lunch. Love the spag, mushroom chiz burger and the sago gulaman. The afternoon was a busy time for hubby. Left office @ 730pm. We're supposed to have some gimik with friends but work...as usual..ruin the day. Humanap pa ng kakampi... ang ULAN! Just scrapped after dinner.

Saturday 7/14/07
Pig out Day.
Woke up @ 9am. Had Bfast.Cleaned our closet for the clothes for disposal. Blogged. Lunch. Blogged. At 3pm, siesta. woke up @ 530pm. Watched TV while having dinner. Attended an anticipated Mass @ 7pm. Prepared my scrap things for the EB the next day. Slept @ 1am.Watched "Sine Totoo" & was touched on their... "Good Samaritan" documentary. Nice to know that there are still good people out there. Who would expect that those who have the heart to help are those that are less capable. It somehow made me reflect. Can I do the same thing? Pay for somebody that could help the one in need.Or stop for a moment and think how can I help the needy. What those people have done was ready commendable. I salute them. I wish I could have the courage and will like them.

Sunday 7/15/07
Woke up @ 7am. had bfast and left home @ 815am. Went to Cubao to borrow the Van of Ariel's family. Went to Pasig for Ariel's dental appointment. Done @ 11am. Went to my parent's house. Got my gifts. Was so happy with them and touched by their thoughtfulness.

Treated my family for lunch in Next Door Resto in Ortigas. It was a good lunch and sa sobrang gutom, I forgot to take pictures. Just decided to take picture outside the resto.

Back to my parents house @ 2pm. Had some wento -wento. Then went with mom to my aunt's house. It was my uncle and niece bday. As usual... tikim-tikim ng handa. patay na naman diet ko. Got this gift from my cousin.

Also she is offering me a diet drink (BFAD approved) but I still need to attend an orientation... one of this saturday. This is good news. Been dying to lose weight lately but can't resist foods. Hehe. Left my aunt's house @ 3pm.

We're already very late for the PS EB which started @ 10am. The food was a potluck. Can't decide what to bring but have listed what others will be bringing and we just ended up bringing Shakeys Pizza and Mojos. Enjoyed the EB although I'm very very late. I was able to maximized my stay. Able to buy thickers from Mitch @ 150. Simple scrappy had some sale for the EB only. But I only bought Prima Flowers which is on sale @350, 5 black CS @ 30 each and a ribbon @ 15.

I already missed the demos. But still able to asked Mia, how the pearl stamping was made. Thanks, Mia! Also able to borrowed stamps from Mia and Tin. Tin was even generous to give free acetates. Thanks, Tin! These two ladies really have a bunch of stamps. Kakaloka. can't decide what to borrow. Just ended up with these.

Decided to leave the place @ 5:30pm. However, my 1.5H stay in the EB was worthwhile. The girls are great and friendly kahit super busy stamping. And the foods are overflowing. Grabe, nabusog kami ni hubby and ended up not having dinner. Btw, click here for some pix during the EB.

From Pasig, we drove back to Cubao to return the Van, then drove back to Pasig to refuel our "Chinchin". The cost of gasoline in Shaw Blvd is 2pesos lower compared to Cavite. Kaya we ensure that if we are going to Manila, we will make "Chinchin" full.

From the Gas station, hubby insisted to buy me another bday present. We ended up in Serendra. Wow. It was such a nice place. It's setting is somehow similar to the shopping places in US. I've been to Gilroy in CA. The difference I've seen is the Park where people can relax and have some bonding moments with they family, friends and even pets. Love the dogs that I've seen. Well..so ayun. Main reason namin going there is to look for the CROCS stall. The style I want still doesn't have my size but my second choice have my size. Hubby insisted to buy me the slippers and promised to buy me another one when they have their stock next month. And so.. I got this such lovely gift.

We arrived home few minutes before 9pm. Just fixed our things. Took some pix of the presents I got and slept when my head started to ache @ 1030pm.

I got a very long yet very HAPPY DAY. Such a wonderful birthday week.

That Day....

Last Wednesday... i spent my bday in a simple way. Went to the office. Work. At Lunch Time, hubby & I went to bank to settle some issue with my account - changing to my married name. Also paid my credit card. It was such a nice feeling to have less liabilities. Then hubby & I had our lunch in Mcdo... according to him, the place where I 1st fall in love with him (Kapal, hehehe).


After lunch, we're back to work. Then, I got a mail from a scrapbook supplier. I got a gift - 20% discount for my shopping. Thanks po! Forwarded the mail to Hubby and his response was " BUY What I want. Such a nice gift! Left office @ 6:30pm and went to a friend's house. We're invited to a dinner. Ariel's inaanak & I have the same birthday. It was a good dinner. Just had some wentuhan and left their home @ 8:30pm. Why? because.. i still need to work. Hay, sometimes work ruin a special day. Buti na lang, I got lots of greeting from friends and family which made my DAY. Nice to feel that people remember You.

Finished working @ 1030pm. Then... time for me to surf.... and shop. Have been waiting for the online scrapbooking store to replenish their stock of the Cuttlebug that I want. They are the cheapest. That's to Lee for the Tip.While waiting, I browsed on their items and have filled my cart with the items I want. waited until 1am but still it's out of stock. Didn't know that hubby was just waiting for me to finish what I am doing. We have some wentuhan pa before going to bed. It was a simple yet fulfilling day for me.

My 31years in this earth had lots of downs... but the best thing is that I was able to surpassed them all. I'm invinsible... hehehe!

My wish... more blessings, be able to serve God thru others and finally.. have a baby!

A Friend is going to US today and I was just informed last Monday not much time to prepare. I was just able to buy Dora Activity Book and create a LO for the little girl of my Ate Jho - wife of an officemate now in US.

Did also did a LO for my former Manager and Kuya Rowen who are now working in our US Main Ofice.

Very Simple 8x8 LOs. Hope they'll appreciate them.

We started my Birthday Celebration today. Looks like that it's gonna be a week of celebration. It is still on wednesday, the eleventh of July. I decided not to have a party this time Because I already had a blast last year. Tipid muna kami this time.

To start our day... we attended a 9am Mass. We are treating my BILs and SILs for lunch but they told us that they'll be arriving at 1pm. We just went to SM Molino.
We did some window shopping. Hubby bought me an advance bday gift (1GB Mini SD for my phone).

Then, hubby bought a Sun Cell load card. We also did some shopping in the hypermart ( foods, toiletries, cleaning materials).

At home, while waiting for our visitors, we ate the mirienda we bought from Jollibee and had some wentuhan with our help.

My in-laws arrived at 1pm. We drove to the resto for lunch and got there at 1:20pm. It was some kinda "Dampa in Dasma Cavite". The place is called Magdaragat. We had a lot for lunch - sinigang na Tanigue sa miso, buttered crab, buttered shrimp, inihaw na liempo, calamares, baked tahong, pinaputok na tinapia and coke light. We were all very full but still able to bring home some crabs, shrimp and tilapia.

From the resto, we drove going to Silang/Tagaytay to look for Collettes BukoPie Branch. Sorry for us. We thought that the drive is only 15mins. but can't find any Collettes branch near. We almost reach Tagaygay.

Got home @ 4:30pm. Just had some wentuhan before they went home.

now... i'm blogging..later.. i hope ..i can scrap...

Nabinat ata Ako

I felt better this morning. We left home @ 9am to go to the Scrapbukan Garage Sale. Able to buy a lot of things but still able to hold on to my budget. See the items i got here:


Left the site @ 12nn. We went to MOA and had our lunch in Mann Hann.


Hubby also bought me a lipstick from Body shop and a face powder refill from SM.

Hubby would like to buy me the Crocs slippers that we say last week but... they don't have my size. Sayang..Hmmp.

We just bought walking shorts for hubby... masikip na kasi yung luma...hehehe.


Left MOA at 3pm. But still stayed for a while in Starbucks near the Shell Gasoline station. Hubby had Hot Choco, I had my Decaf non-fat Caramel Mach and we had a strawberry Belgian Waffle.

Took Coastal Going home. Medyo traffic. We reached Molino @ 5pm. Went to the parlor to have my pedicure, eyebrow fixed and hair trimed. At home... we just watched tv... and i am now feeling dizzy while blogging this.. i think... this is enough for now. We still have lots of things that to be done tomorrow....Tsaka... Nabinat na ata ako!

I was Sick Yesterday

I got sick yesterday. Maybe due to pagod that we had last wednesday. The whole Product Engineering Group in our CML Plant went on a Bonding in Splash Mountain. It was fun but it was really hot in the place. The food was also good.

The program ended @ 3pm. We can still do swimming until 5pm but i preferred to go home early. Masama na katawan ko that time. buti na lang din coz traffic na rin sa expressway. Got home @ 5pm. Just paid Ariel's credit card in SM before going home.

The next day.... i feel very heavy... waah.
i wanted to clean the house,
i wanted to scrap,
i wanted to go out and have my driver's license renewed,
but my body won't let me.

sayang... ang leave ko...

A new Addition

Got this Tripod today.Purchased it thru EBAY at an affortable price. Was so happy with it - light weight & easy to use. Now, I should be able to take good picture of my LOs (i hope...).

Last Night, hubby and I went to 2 drugstores to look for the ovulation kit. We like to know if I'm really ovulating before taking the test that our OB recommend which is a bit pricey (almost 7k for both of us). Unfortunately, those two drugstores doesn't have it.

We just ate in Mcdo. Ariel had a McChix Meal and I had my spaghetti (i'm a spaghetti girl).

At Home... we're back to work....till 12mn... some kinda Ironic...

Gift for my Kumare

Created some LOs of my inaanak last January. It was supposed to be a xmas gift but was not able to finish on time.Used a Craft Express Baby Boy Kit. Just able to give it last Saturday due to schedule conflicts. They are so simple (just cut and paste on most LOs) but my Kumare liked them. I think, I'm beginning to influence her. Actually, I gave her the excess of the kit I used so she can start working on them.

Got A LAMP

Hubby and I attended my inaanaks' 1st bday in Jollibee New Wave last Saturday. It was from 4:30 to 6:30pm. After the party, we went to MOA. Entered the department store to look for a desk lamp but didn't find anything that suits our budget and need.

While walking, we saw this A&E light store. Hubby insisted that we buy the lamp because it is cheaper. Got it for 900php. Hubby also bought a FOG light for our garden at 160php.

Was so happy about it. Finally, we can cut papers, write, work and scrap on my work table without fear of damaging our eyes.
