We planned to have our dinner last monday at Antonio's. We haven't been in the place and just drove to tagaytay thinking that we can find it. But.... we failed, so we called our friend who knows it and found out that it is close on mondays. HMMP. kainis ah.

ang aking feeling sa ngayon
wala namang importanteng bagay akong isusulat except for the feeling that i am having now. i'm TENSED. may presentation kasi ako bukas ng gabi at exactly 12:10am. it's a corporate presentation to explain why we are not meeting our commit date for our 2 projects. reason lang naman is resource. we don't have enough engr that can work on these projects. it will be a phone conference but still it makes me tense and nervous coz it's my 1st time to do such presentation. i've done a lot corporate project presentation with VPs and Directors pero maganda yung data ko. hay....kabado nako.

Lesson: Makinig Nang Mabuti
Just passed by this email while I'm waiting for Ariel. Natuwa lang ako.Pampagaan ng buhay..Hehehe....
Once upon a time there was a Prince who, through no
fault of his own was cast under a spell by an evil
witch. The curse was that the Prince could speak only
one word each year. However, he could save up the
words so that if he did not speak for a whole year,
then the following year he was allowed to speak two
words. (This was before the time of letter writing or
sign language.)
One day he met a beautiful princess (ruby lips, golden
hair, sapphire eyes,) and fell madly in love. With
the greatest difficulty he decided to refrain from
speaking for two whole years so that he could look
at her and say "my darling". But at the end of the two
years he wished to tell her that he loved her.
Because of this he waited three more years without
speaking (bringing the total number of silent years to
5). But at the end of these five years he realized
that he had to ask her to marry him. So he waited
ANOTHER four years without speaking (to say "Will you
marry me?").
Finally as the ninth year of silence ended, his joy
knew no bounds. Leading the lovely princess to the
most secluded and romantic place in that beautiful
royal garden the prince heaped a hundred red roses on
her lap, knelt before her, and taking her hand in

SCREAM Marathon
After attending an 8-9am sunday mass, cooking and eating our lunch (fried tilapia and pork nilaga), we had our SCREAM Marathon.
BFAST in BED & THE Sleepful (Full of Sleep) Couple
Satuday must be a rest day but Ariel's body clock is still "ON". He can't sleep anymore at around 7am. Ako, the usual me, antok talaga and can't even open my eyes to cook for an early bfast (early nga ba ang 7am?). Anyway, Kahit tulog ako, I can smell the egg and maling na niluluto ni Ariel. Di ako nakatiis kaya bumangon na ako to help him with the cooking. However,he insisted that I go back to bed kaya mega sleep na naman ako. When I was about to stand again kasi natatagalan ako sa pagluluto nya. I saw him bringing the food to our room. So we had our breakfast in bed. The problem is inantok kami after eating kaya natulog kami ulit and woke up at 1:30pm. Talagang sleeping galore kami that day!
My "Adobo Sana" dish
Our friday office hour is 8-5 only. After logging off from work, we went to market to buy something that we can cook for dinner. We want to experiment how to cook the classical filipino dish-adobo.
I thought I was doing the right thing but when I called my mom, I found out that I was wrong. I sauteed the pork with garlic, onion and tomato before simmering the pork with soy sauce and vinegar. Dapat pala, papakuluan muna yung pork with toyo, suka and sugar bago igisa sa bawang sibuyas kamatis. Ngek, it's too late.Ma-pride kasi ako kaya di muna ako tumawag sa mom ko. Ayan tuloy...hmmp. Anyway, according to Ariel, it still taste good with soy sauce and sugar only.

Friday Madness
Gutom nako. Di pa me makakain. Wala pa yung asawa ko. Nakikipag-meeting pa. Di naman kasi sinabi na mauna nako kumain kanina. Eh di sana sumabay na lang ako sa iba. Friday na friday, nang-iinis.. Hehehe. Sayang lang yung date namin kagabi sa Pizza Hut. Hay, ano oras kaya kami kakain? .... Sarado na canteeen namin ng 1:15 PM.

My First Time....
Last Sunday was my 1st time... It was my first time to cook a real dish for Ariel. Most of the time, we eat easy-to-cook foods but yesterday was different. The dish may still be an easy to cook dish (ginisang Cabbage) but I am still proud coz my hubby liked it. I'm excited to cook more dishes for him.
Saturday Fever
We were able to regain our energy last saturday. Although I am sick, my hubby was a good nurse. He was able to make me well after lunch. He woke me up at 6am to eat instant sotanghon soup so I can take my medicine. I was not able to finish it and as usual he finished it. We went back to sleep after that bfast. I woke up at 9:30 am. I cooked scrambled egg while he cooked our knorr instant sopas. At 12nn, we just fell asleep with TV "ON" and woke up at 3pm. My stomach is already looking for something to crunch. Ariel didn't allow me to go out so he just bought jollibee foods for our lunch/snack. Since I am feeling well already,I washed the undies that I soak the night before while he's doing the dishes. We also cleaned our apartment then went to nearby shopping center( waltermart) to buy some stuffs: "tabo", laundry basket and food container. We also bought pizza for dinner.
After some tv watching and chatting, we went to bed early to get ready for the next day's activities.

Looking Forward...
Wedding Gift From Mark Finn

We are lucky to have a US counterpart/Manager and a friend at the same time. It's more than a month since we got married but still we received a wedding present from a friend this week. Thanks Mark, we can now celebrate our 2nd monthsary next week. We haven't been in that place which makes us excited. Though we have lots of work waiting for us, still, we're looking forward for next week. Thank You!

Our Mothers' Day...
This is the 1st Mothers' Day that we spent together. We have created our iterinary last saturday night and we executed it as planned.
1. Our 1st stop is at Himlayang Filipino, where Ariel's Mom and Lola are buried. We went there with her Ate and it's hubby-Roy. We offered flowers and some prayers.
Since I was not able to met Ariel's mom, he kept on teasing me that someday, sometime, in my dreams or somewhere, I'll be meeting/seeing/feeling his mom. Really naughty of him, coz he knows that I'm afraid of ghost. Hmhmmm...
2. Next, Mcdo bfast. A treat from her ate. My hubby is accident-prone. But this time, he was able to save a man from hitting his head on the floor after stepping on a wet floor. My man is a savior!
3. Sta. Clara Montefalco Parish church- the place where he proposed and where we got married. Our usual 9-10am mass. We met my family. We greeted my mom "HAPPY Mother's Day!".
4. Pasig Municipal Cemetery - We visited my Lola with my family. I don't know if my lola is my second or 1st mom bacause she's the one who took care of me when I was still a kid. My mom is still young when she gave birth to me-only 16 years old. I became a spoiled brat but still a good person because of her. I just regret that I was not able to take care of her when she was sick and dying. She was in Pasig and I am working in Cavite. I miss my lola! I can still remember the time when my mom is chasing me with a Walis tambo because I was hard headed. My lola scolded my mom and told her..Sige, tuloy mo, kaw hahatawin ko dyan eh. (I have my period that time-bawal daw mapalo). Hehehe,i won!!!!
5. Kamay Kainan, GreenHills - Our mother's Day treat for my mom. However,we also bring my family with us,para mas masaya. We are 9 pax for a P250 Eat-all-you-can Lunch and bottomless drinks. The food was great- true value for money! Everything was yummmy. All of us are very full. So full that we feel that we don't need to eat dinner anymore. :-)
6. Pasig (Our House) - I did some chatting with my sisters,mom and dad while Ariel is playing PS with my brother.
7. Cubao (Ariel's Place) - We 're supposed to go to Heart Center with Ariel's Ate to visit his Tita Tess who just got a heart by-pass operation, but she's still in ICU so visitors are still not allowed.
8. Dasma Cavite at 5:30 pm - We're so lucky that by the time we reached Pasay Rotonda for Dasma FX, only two person is needed for it to go.
9. Kill Bill Marathon - While resting, we started watching Kill Bill 1. We enjoyed volume 1 that we just cooked corned beef and Lucky Me pansit Canton for dinner then continue with volume 2.
10. Hands to Heaven - our daily Prayer before sleeping.
We enjoyed everything that we've done over the weekend, because we did it together, SO HAPPY TOGETHER!!!!

Back-to-School Shopping!!!
Nothing changed much since we got married. Ariel understands my obligation as the eldest among my 4 siblings. I really love my hubby!!! When I told him that school time is fast approaching and I need to start buying school uniforms and supplies for my sisters and brother, he was so supportive. He thinks like the way I do. I am very proud that my hubby loves my family, the way that I love them.
We planned for a divi shopping on the 1st week of May to avoid the Rush.
We met with my mom last saturday in Divi Mall. However, we didn't saw any school uniforms there. We went to Tabora St. and able to buy uniforms, undegarments and school supplies. We bought pants, blouses and slippers for my other sisters in Cluster building. We ate lunch at Max-Tutuban Mall. We enjoyed the halo-halo with ice cream. It was so kind of the manager that he allowed us to have the macapuno ice krim for our halo-halo instead of ube. Hehehe!
We went to our house after the divi trip! Some kwento with my family and then, siesta time. At 7pm, we go to cubao for our dinner. We had Ariel's favorite-grilled pork. We had a shower after because it was so init and we felt so dirty.
We experienced about 8 temp cycles (HOT-COLD-HOT....), but we still enjoyed the "HEAT" because we're together thru "HOT and COLD" ;-) .

Celebration....
Ariel was sicked the whole wikend but still worked overtime last saturday. He's really hardworking. I can't blame him coz he's like that even before I married him. I just did my best to take care of him when he came home after lunch. We're supposed to go to the mall that night but he still have colds and cough so we just watched " The Little Black Book". Then go out for our "Jolly Dinner" since we don't have anything to cook for dinner and he doesn't allow to let me go out alone. Hmmmp! Anyway, he enjoyed his dinner and went to bed early.
On Sunday, he still have colds but we still attended an 8 to 9am mass in Dasma Church. I got my pedicure in a nearby parlor. We're supposed to go home after that but He wants to enjoy the wikend so off we go to SM dasma for our lunch. We just ate in the foodcourt,bought a REAL LIVING mag, some toiletries and a necklace chain for 35% off. It was so sweet of my hubby. I had been complaining of my necklace few days ago coz of its design that cause it to "eat my hair". I don't want to buy a new one but since it's on sale, he insisted to buy it. According to him he doesn't want seeing me in any kind of pain. I really love my Hubby :-* .
NEXT...guess what...we watched XXX2 with popcorn and icetea. There's no special occasion to celebrate but we feel that EVERY DAY THAT WE SPEND WITH EACH OTHER IS SPECIAL and worth celebrating ;-) ............
