Colombus Weekend....

My weekend was so tiring not so exciting but not boring as well. Friday night was a pizza n chix night at my friends house. Joseph's Wife, Jo, had been released from the hospital that afternoon. And as a thanksgiving that the operation had been safe n successfull, he sponsored a pizza dinner. We had Round Table Pizza and Chicken. it was good. Just got some kantahan n left their house at 930pm para maka-rest din naman si Jo. Malakas na sya but i think effect lang yun ng gamot kaya kala nya wala ng pain. She still need to take some rest.

Bumalik pako sa office after going there to print some stuff that i need to work on that night. But too bad that i forgot the most important material I need- the transparency. I needed to do an overlay plot. Think,think,think... I need to finish it para wala na ko intindihin ng weekend. Aha....got to see my lampshade...Bakit di ko na lang i-trace dva? So ayun. Yung light from the lampshade made it easier for me to do the overlay plot and this is what I got. Ang gulo noh? hahaha.



130am nako natapos nyan then di pako makatulog agad kaya friendster muna ako till 2am. I don't know why I can't slip kahit antok na antok nako. na-ho-homesick siguro ako. Miss ko na si Ariel. Hay...

1030 of Saturday morning, punta naman kami sa Gilroy Premuim Outlets to buy toys for Erikas's bday party in the afternoon. Hay dami maganda toys. But normally, I preferred to give educational toys. Mura mga toys dun pero siempre mas mura sa pinas. 3 gifts ang binili ko. 1 para sa mga kahati ko, next is para kay Joseph, Jo and JL (di sila makaka-attend because Jo just got out of the hospital) and one for Anne and Dennis ( inaanak daw kasi ni anne si Erika and Dennis can't attend coz he'll be visiting his relatives in Kansas this weekend). Hay hirap humanap ng gift, esp pag may specified na budget. Hahaha. So far, we bought a Phoenix laptop, kiddie organ and Singing Care Bear.





I also bougth an RC car for my 13 YO brother as pasalubong. Pero sa totoo lang, ako may gusto nun, parang ang saya kasing maglaro ng RC eh. But I know, my brother would also like it. Pagtapos nun, ikot ikot kami sa ibang stalls. Been to Sony, Bass, Fossil, Polo Sport, Tommy, Guess,CK, and dami pa. Madami akong nagustuhan and would like to buy sana pero di pa kaya ng powers ko na bilhin eh. Bago umuwi na lang siguro. I just bought fossil watches for my two sisters. Dami pa me bibilhan ng pasalubong....hay...isa-isa muna.

After shopping, bumalik kami sa opis para sunduin si Binoy- Indian Friend namin na invited din sa party. He just visited from India and he didn't rent a car kasi di daw sya sanay sa right hand drive. 530pm na kami nakaalis dun kasi medyo busy pa sya.

Going to the place was smooth. Meron us instruction from google eh. The party and foods are great. Got to see some of the bosses there also. There are invited. Got to meet Sai's Wife and Kids ( When Sai visited the Philippines we accompanied him to buy Pearls for his wife,wife's friends and kids. They all liked the pearls we bought. Salamat naman.). Ganda talaga ng house nila Kris and Eric. It was really huge. Ganun ata talaga normally mga houses sa US. Sa pilipinas, mayaman ka talaga pag ganun kalaki house mo. They have a playroom with Table soccer and a shooting ring. Nag-enjoy ako maglaro ng basketball. May timer and points kasi eh. My highest score was 56 points for 15s. At 9pm, nagyayaya na si Binoy so uwi na us. Nung papunta, I was a good navigator but going back, nalito nako. Can't do reverse navigation. hay, suko ako. Ok na sana nung nasa Hiway 101 na kami. We're supposed to exit at Talaveras pero napa-sobra kami, nawala yung concentration ng driver namin. 3 times kaming nagpa-ikot-ikot. Waah. 15mins din yun. Nakakainis na nakakatuwa. Iba kasi feeling eh. anyway, paguwi ko. tawag lang kay Ariel then surf konti then slip na din few minutes before 12mn.

Sunday 1030am: 1st time ko nagsimba ng maaga ngayong 2nd time ko sa US. Lagi kasi gabi gusto magsimba ng mga kasama ko dito eh. Maganda talaga magsimba ng maaga.Iba din feeling. Alam nyo ba feeling? Try it and you'll love it. Parang sales agent noh?

So after that, punta kami sa aming nanay- kina Ate Josie. I helped her chopped the black gulaman. Then the pork n meat for the dinuguan. 1am dumating na yung vietnamese na manikurista nya. I also had my toe nails done kasi masakit na sya. Sa Pinas kasi, every other week ako nagpapalinis. Actually, I am havong 2nd thoughts of having my nails done. Mahal kasi sya dito eh- $20. Imagine my slippers below is PHP700 lang tas yung pa-pedicure ko is $20. Justifiable ba yun? Hahaha. Pero honestly, it felt good after nya ako malinisan. She was really good. Esp in making the design. You know what, 1st time ko nagpa-lagay ng design,kasi mahal sa pinas eh. kaya ito, dahil libre design...nagpadesign ako. what can u say? except sa comment na pangit paa ko..hahaha.
