Sync Summer Outing-'06

Our group in our department had our summer outing to celebrate the promotion of some of our co-engr and despidida of those we are going to San Jose CA for training. It was in Munting Buhangin, Nasugbu Batangas.

After office hour last friday, punta na kami dun and we stayed until 4pm of the next day. We had some inuman nung night. Grabe..sakit sa ulo ng Matador (for the Girls) . The guys had Red Horse.

Mendoza's Summer Outing

LAst Arpil 16, Black Saturday, we had a summer outing with my family. This is also to celebrate our bunso's 13th birthday last April 10. We are complete... ditse with francis, jen with anna, me with ariel and the rest of us.

It was in Double V resort, Dasma Cavite. Sobra dami ng tao. Never expected it to be that way. But we've learned our lesson.. never go on an outing on a Holyweek.

Hay... Tagal ko ding walang update..super busy lang talaga.. meron na kong draft pero diko pa rin natatapos.

Anyway, it's our 1st year wedding anniversary. it is really special kasi.... we are both special for each other. Hehehe.

I'll just make some anniversary kwento... i'll start na lang yesterday...
Ariel went to office yesterday to do some group studying with his classmates (our officemates) taking up masteral (MS in Microelectronics) in UP. They have a takehome exam which needs to be submitted on Monday. He left at 1130am.

It is quite sad coz it's the eve to our anni but i'm still happy coz i will have time to buy him a present. When he left, i just cleaned the house. Then some wento-wento with my dad (He's doing our Fence). When they (helper) left at 4pm, sumabay nako palabas. I went to SM Molino. I've been aiming to buy Ariel a bluetooth for our anniversary. Super naiinis kasi ako when he's talking on the phone while driving.

Very in demand kasi sya sa office ( semicon manufacturing kasi us work) kaya para kaming doctor. Always on call. Minsan simpleng problem lang, itinatawag pa. hehe.But this is our life.. this is our bread and butter.

SO ayun nga, 2 weeks ago ko na pinuntahan yung kingcom but didn't buy the bluotooth headset kasi it was so expensive. I thought, magkakaroon pako ng time maghanap sa iba. But, too bad for me. i've been so very busy with work (same with him). Kaya, kahapon lang ako bumili.

In kingcom, saw two brands of bluetooth headset. I bought the more expensive one coz it looks better, it is smaller and i like the assesories. And siempre, i want the best for hubby.

Nung nakabili nako, i thought of going inside hypermart to buy some clothes for him. But, i got mad with the security guard coz she doesn't want to let me in without depositing the bluetooth i just bought. Siempre, ayaw ko syang iwan noh. Mahal kaya yun tsaka bawal iwan ang electronic gadgets sa baggage area diva? So walk out na lang ako! Hmmp!

I passed by the stall selling bibingka. Matagal ko na syang gustong tikman so kahit expensive sya (P42) bumili pa rin ako (pero di sya kasing sarap as i expected it to be).

Then paglabas ko dun sa may hyperamart area, napadaan na naman ako sa cellphone assessories area. I bought Ariel a case for his cellphone. hirapan din kasi sya kuha phone nya from his pocket everytime may tumatawag sa kanya( nasira na kasi yung luma nya). Then, i passed by BENCH. I bought him a khaki pants. It looks nice and not as expensive as the other brands. Yepeey, complete na regalo ko kay ariel kaya at 5:30pm, nasa house nako ulit ( lapit lang kami SM. Isang sakay lang - tricycle).

Then Ariel called... 7pm pa daw sila mag-uuwian..Hay.. inip ako. kaya watched muna ako ng "Road to Perdition". We were watching it last week but nakatulog ako. And .. as expected... 30mins lang..then sleep ulit ako...diko pa rin natapos. Hahaha.

Past 8pm nasa house na si Ariel, he bought a Lechon Manok. We ate dinner. Pagtapos eat, i gave him my 2 gifts... the cell case and the pants. I continued watching the movie na tinulugan ko. Tas sya aral pa rin. Sipag ng veve ko. Then di ako nakatiis.. sabi ko, may grand prize pa sya kasi 3rd prize lang yung case and 2nd prize yung pants. He was thinking what it is. I asked him to close his eyes. Pinakapa ko muna sa kanya yung box while opening it. Then he was suprised to know that it was a bluetooth. Hehe. Hiya daw sya kasi la sya gift sakin. Ok lang naman, kasi nasakin lahat ng money nya and madami talaga kami gastos ngayon.



But meron syang hinandang lunch date namin..diko alam kung saan. Basta, he assured me na i will like it. Na-iintriga nga ako eh..kasi may reservation pa. Hmmp.. excited ako nun ah.

Then,.... after some time nakatulog nako.. aral pa din sya. He slept daw at 2am. Wawa naman veve ko.

So dito na tayo sa main event....
630am ginigising na nya ako but i asked him to sleep some more kasi wala pa syang masyadong tulog. But 7am, gumising na din kami. Init lang namin natirang andoks for bfast then simba ng kami..9-10am. Bumalik lang kami SM Molino after the mass para papalitan ng size yung pants sa bench. It fits him but he wanted a more relax fit, more loose.

Then, going outside the parking area, he tried on the bluetooth at eto sya.... hehehe.


SLEX us dumaan, sa makati pala kami punta...then nagulat ako kasi kala ko sa glorietta lang kami. But he was heading to Makati Shang. Hmmm. Sweet naman. He brought me to Circles. My 1st time. Di naman kasi kami sosi kaya di ako familiar dun. Anyway... napaaga us ng dating..1130 pa daw.. we were there at 11am. So antay muna kami sa may 2nd floor lobby kasi puno na sa 1st floor. And becoz naiinip na kmi, i took some pictues..





Hay... the foods were really good, esp the desserts. dami kong nakain.. patay na naman diet ko (this is my biggest problem right now... im gaining weight everyday..last time, i weighed 129 lbs. waah). di bale... may pag-asa pa..i can do atkins ulit.. kun kelan..yun ang di pa definite.

Since I felt so full, I asked him to take a walk but not in glorietta kasi layo namin. Sabi ko punta na lang kami ATC para mas malapit na pauwi samin.

Well... ikot ikot lang kami sa ATC..punta sa True Value and Federal HW, looking for an outdoor/garage light but didn't find any that we like. So uwi na lang kami.. we drove thru Daang Hari, then I remebered that i need to digest the foods that we ate and i need to buy that medicine.. So punta kami SM molino. After buying the medicine... naisipan naming bumili ng shorts for summer.. Hay...ang mahal... kaya sa SM hypermart na lang kami tumingin, buti na lang may mga sale items, wala nga lang akong nakitang shorts. I just bought 2 capri and a walking shorts for Ariel. we also bought leggings and pantylet.

Pagod na kami kaya uwi na din kami after... it was 430pm na din kasi. May appointment pa sya ng 5pm with his massager (home service). His lower back is always aching. He just had a terrifying massage (katakot kasi sigaw sya ng sigaw) last tuesday. Ok naman daw. But really needs a follow up massage.

At home, we did some picture taking..kasi..wala lang...



Then antok kami, we slept for 20mins then dumating na yung mag-ma-massage sa kanya. Shower lang sya then laba muna ako undies ( Nagpapa-laundry & press kami ng damit but not undies). Actually, sya na naglalaba nun, but since masakit balakang nya... ako na lang gumawa, kaso matagal na paalaman pa talaga yun. Ayaw nya kasi ako maglaba kasi masama din daw sa scolio ko. Hmmp.

So ayun,..8pm na sila natapos..530 to 8pm. Tagal noh.. Kasi sobrang laki daw ng lamig sa lower back nya. Wawa naman veve ko. But after that, ok na ulit sya. Feeling may pasa na lang daw. Hehe.

Then... our manager texted him, mag-aral daw ulit sila. punta daw sya sa house at 830. So kain na kami ni Ariel. Pareho na kaming pagod and ayaw na magluto kaya Century Tuna with Calamansi & Buttered Cookies na lang kain namin for dinner. Nagtatawanan nga kami coz our lunch cost 3K and our dinner is only 1% of it.



Well...minsan-minsan..Need to experience a different world especially on a special ocassion like this...our 1st year anniversary.. Pero teka asan na ba sya?..Andun pa sa baba with our manager/friend/neighbor... Aral pa din. Submission na bukas ng exam nila eh.. Goodluck to them.. After this, tulog na me.

Basta.. I love this DAY... This is another one HAPPY day that we spent TOGETHER.

more than 30 days before nadeliver yung binili naming shoe rack. finally! naayos ko din yung ibang gamit namin. madami pa kaming kulang na storage..pero hinay-hinay lang muna.our budget doesn't permit us yet to buy everything.

two weeks past since it was delivered, but ngayon ko lang sya mapo-post. so busy eh. anyway, bumili din kami ng TV for our living/dining room (sa liit ng house namin, almost isa na lang sya). kakatamad kasi maglinis sa baba if walang TV(is it a valid reason? hehehe).


our new TV on top of the other shoe cabinet (pero di shoe nkalagay jan.hehehe). bytheway..hopefully sooner, i can change the color of our stairs..we want it black or dark oak (same with the shoe rack)..

ito pa ang isang bago namin. just bought it yesterday from robinson. fell in love with the color and design. but forgot to buy a tassle so just bought it this afternoon from SM Molino. Complete na sya ngayon. i love it.

Our New Baby..."Chinchin"

After seeing and drive testing the car that saturday, we were able to bring it home on Thursday. The last owner had it registered 1st. We are still lucky to have it at a lower cost. Sulit talaga, i like the color, the style, the leather seat, the rain gutter, the pioneer stereo and others. After some days, we gave her a name...Chinchin. Bakit? Wala lang.. Kasi Chinito amo nya eh. Hehehe. Next plan namin is her blessing. Hopefully we can do it next week.

Searching Week

Hay hirap maghanap ng car na fitted sa requirements and budget namin... By wednesday, may nakita kami, Corolla '96 for 140K but when we called the next day...nabenta na sya. Sayang. Kasi wikend lang kami puede pumunta dun. Anyway, sabi naman ni Ariel, it's not meant for us. So ulit ako sa paghahanap sa... friendster classified, buyandsell.com.ph, and adpost.

Finally, Thursday, may nakita ako...(ako naghahanap...busy kasi si ariel and ako lang matiyaga mag-surf. downloads ang talent ni ariel eh). I saw an ad in adpost that met our criteria- Lancer EL '95 worth 140K. Ariel talked to the owner, we can view it this wikend, minor lang din daw papaayos namin like window and something that i don't remember now. Sa may Ever ortigas lang naman sila and we're going to Pasig on Saturday. We haggle over the phone and the owner said that he can go 'til 130K. Yepeey...excited na me to see it. Saw the pix in the web and it was ok naman.

2nd Day of the Year...We need to decide...

While having our Bfast, Ariel and I discussed that it would be inconvenient for us if we will not have our own CAR. We computed the expense and realizes that we can save more if we will be buying a CAR since we already have a GAS allowance of 150li/mo. So we start discussing on where can we get the funds and how far can we go. The initial plan is a CAR worth 100K or less and at most 15 y.o. It might be impossible but some of our friends/coworkers were able to find one. So I assure Ariel, that I can find one. We contacted our friends because maybe they knew somebody who's selling theirs but they don't know anybody that time.

New Year's Day...

We had our lunch in my parents' house. Dad cooked steak and I also brought some of the carbonara that I cooked the night before. It was a good lunch.Got a text invitation from my cousin, so we went to their place and had meals ulit...hehehe. See some of our pictures...

In the evening, we went to Ariel's Place. Ariel and his Ate discussed the "VAN". She said that she'll be needing it for 3 months because they will have visitors coming from Canada and she will be processing their Real Property Tax. They brought us to our house para di na daw kami mag-commute but we 1st had our dinner in Congo Grill near ATC. In our house, Ariel toured them around. It was just good that I didn't received any bad comment. Hehehe. Anyway, they left before 12mn. We are so tired that we just fixed some things then we headed to our bed.

1st New Year's Eve

We decided to spend our new year in our new house with just the 2 of us. This is because, it was our 1st and I believe that new year must be spend in one's own house (Ewan ko, tradition namin yun eh.)1st thing in the morning, we cooked our bfast and started cleaning the house. We did a genral cleaning. Ariel and I cleaned all our glass windows kasi di pa sya talaga nalilinis since I come from the US. We finished at around 4pm. We rested for some time then, we started cooking for our Media Noche.



After cooking and preparing the table, we did some picture taking...









We also planned to give some of the dishes we have to our Manager living a couple of blocks from us but when we're above to lock our door, we saw them coming. They gave us some fruit salad and some Pancit Malabon.



We also gave them my Carbonara and Chang-Yu Red Wine.At around 11pm, we stayed outside to watched the fire crackers of our neighbors. We didn't buy anything since we believe, it is safer.At 12mn, we greeted each other and have our Late or Early Meal.... Hehehe.Well... that is how simple we celebrated our new year's eve but that is also how special we celebrated it....

Meeting the Bugoys...and The night before New Year's Eve.

Come Friday, we need to visit my dad to canvass for the metals we need for the house fencing. Unfortunately, the shop was close,but they still allowed us to enter their storage and check what they have. WE were able to choose what we want. Dad will just check the prices and buy as well if our budget permits. Hehe.

After that, we went to Megamall. We park on the 4th floor. Pero nung andun pa lang kami sa entrance ng parking sa ground floor, i got irritated of the motorcycle in front of us. Ang lakas kasi ng sounds. He also has 2 passengers w/o helmet and would like to park sa taas. I was just thinking, coz i know that sa labas or baba, ang parking slot ng motorcycles. Going to 3rd floor, parang nahirapan sya tas muntik nang bumaliktad yung motor nya. Nahulog yung daughter(8 y.o ata) and wife nya. The little girl shouted " Aray, ang sakit ng pwet ko". Buti na lang di nakatutok si Ariel dun sa motor,kung 'di bka nasagasaan pa namin sila. Ayun, basag ang backlight nya at di ko pa alam kung ano pa mga nasira. Di na kami nakatulong kasi shock din ako at mabibitin kami paakyat at yung traffic sa likod namin. Hay...kawawa naman yung bata! Sana lang kasi...yung iba alalahin yung mga ginagawa nila pati mga pasahero nila.

So enough for that, we're meeting with Ariel's barkada in Starbucks. Nag-Balikbayan kasi yung bestfriend nya na working in Fujitsu Japan. Ngaps, pareho sila ng name. Tawag nila kay hubby is Go tas kay Ariel M. is Manok kasi Manosca surname nya. He is our Bestman in our wedding but he was not able to attend due to an urgent customer issue that he needs to attend. Anyway, ok lang naman. Una naming nakita si Peter. We waited to the others in Wendy's. Ariel bought...frosty...fries then ice tea. Hahaha...takaw talaga ng hubby ko. When they arrived, we decided to eat in Dencio's. Hay...daming food. Sagot lahat ni Manok. By the way, Manok is with LJ, Wilson is with Hana, Peter is with No one kaya asar talo sya. Hehehe. Pero masaya naman sila. Kasi at last na-complete silang apat. College buddies talaga silang tatlo. 1st time ko silang na-meet sa house nila Ariel nung bday nya. Di pa kami ni Ariel. All of them were present. Dito pa kasi based dati si Manok. Grabe, ang kukulit nila. Ngaps..iba pa GF ni Wilson nun. Shhhh.

Nyway, after lunch, we all went to timezone.Kung ano-anong nilaro nila..dakilang tagapanuod lang ako. Tas maya-maya..naisipang kong pumunta sa home section ng SM para maka-pagsolo naman yung magkakaibigan. So ayun, I bought a Vase na pwede din kitchen vase for sandoks tsaka bathroom brush na katerno nung tiles namin.

Mga 6:30pm na ata kami naghi-hiwalay. May inabot pa si Manok kay Ariel...late wedding gift daw. Didn't expect na makaka-receive pa kami ng wedding gifts. Thanks Manok.

We also bought RED Ribbong Black Forest Cake for our Ninong(Tito ni Ariel). Then, hinatid namin si Peter sa San Juan.

Dumiretso na kami sa Mayon, Manila. Wala dun si Tito Augusto but andun si Len-Len ( Bunsong anak nila). We gave the cake and the gift for Ariel's pamangkin. We also checked on Inang ( Ariel's Lola). Sobrang payat na nya. Bed ridden na din. Hay..naalala ko na naman lola ko.

We hoped to watched Pyro Olypics but the traffic was so heavy kahit sa Espana pa lang kaya di na kami tumuloy. We took mag-SLEX instead of Coastal. Good thing that the traffic was light.

We passed through SM Molino so we decided to buy the things we need for the Media Noche so we won't need to go out the next day. Hay..daming tao pero sandali lang naman kami nag-grocery kasi konti na lang naman kulang namin.

Pag-uwi, ayos lang kami konti tas slip na.... Kakapagod.

After Xmas..I was sick...

After xmas, I got sick for a week so I stayed at home. Buti na lang pwede talagang mag-leave that time. Si Ariel lang ang masipag pumasok. He went to the office Tuesday and Thursday. Di sya pumasok nung wednesday kasi talagang di ako makabangon that day.

Xmas Night Party- Jorge's Residence

After naman magpahinga at matulog sa house ng parents ko. Diretso na kami sa house ng tito ni Ariel (mother side). 7pm daw yung party. Pero 9pm na ata nag-start.Buti na lang may bilyaran dun sa tito niya kaya nag-Billiards muna sila while waiting for the other guests to finish their dinner. Matagal-tagal din walang practice si Ariel kaya medyo kulelat sya at ako ang nag-iisang cheerer nya. Siempre, love my own. Hahaha. I just think na kailangan naming mag-practice. Sya lang pala mag-pra-practice at ako ang mag-aaral. Hehe. We had some games - Pinoy Henyo, Videoke, Family Feud style na - drinking game and Batu-bato-pik.





There are 3 teams and ang laban is Race to 5. Price was the potluck na galing sa PHP10 contribution ng mga guest. Enjoy naman kami. Sa exchange Gift, natuwa naman yung mga niregaluhan namin-dapat lang dva kasi based yun sa wish lists nila. Kami din, we got 1 item on our wish list- A His and Her Bath and Face Towel.

At 1pm nagpaalam na kami. Kasi uuwi pa kami sa Cavite. Hay...Kakapagod.

My family celebrated Xmas Eve in our new house. My mom cooked spaghetti. Ariel did the bbq chix. I cooked my buttered Shrimp. Our dessert was my homemade Fruit Salad. It was a good Noche Buena.

Sinundo namin sila ng 3:30pm sa Pasig. Nasa House na kami ng 4:30. It was really cold that afternoon. Lamig na lamig silang lahat.

Xmas ng umaga, dumaan kami sa St. James Parish Church pero walang mass. We prayed for a while then punta na kami sa Antipolo. Dalaw sa Lola ko (Mom ni Dad) then sa Tita ko (sis naman nya na ninang namin ni ariel sa wedding). Nag-bless lang kami..konting wento then alis na. Balik na kami sa Pasig, pero had our lunch muna sa Tita ko na sis ni mommy. Siempre, the usual gift giving. After that, punta na kami sa house ng parents ko. Masakit paa ni Ariel kaya nakatulog sya after ko hilutin paa nya tas slip kami till 530 pm. Our snak was ham sandwiched made by my dad.

At 7pm alis na kami sa amin para naman sa xmas dinner party sa tito ni Ariel sa Filinvest antipolo...

Product Engineering Xmas Party

Matagal-tagal na din since I last posted. Been very busy lang talaga sa work, pag-aayos ng house, preparation for the holidays and others.

Anyway, our division had our xmas party last dec.16'05 at the Orchard Golf and Country Club (Dasma Cavite). Some pix are attached. Happy viewing. Masaya sana pero di kami nanalo sa raffle. Hmmp..kainis. Hahaha
