Puerto Galera Gimik

Out of no where, hubby together with a newly wed friends, planned for a long weekend get-away. Hubby & I planned of going to Casa San Pablo or the Farm but decided to join our friends in PG. Di pa rin naman us nakakapunta sa Puerto kaya ok na din. We left cavite Sunday because hubby & i still needs to attend his college friend's wedding last saturday.

We had so much fun although there were some glitches:
a. Morning headache (migraine)
b. Moody me - our friends were late: they were supposed to be in our house at 6am but they arrived 7am.
c. We don't know the direction going to Batangas port. However, thru text from friends, we took SLEX and Startoll.
c. Traffic going to Batangas City.
d. Arrived in Batangas Pier @ 9:30am. Next Boarding Boat is 10am. The "INIP" strikes me again.
e. Boat Boarded at 10am but left the pier @ 11am. Kainis noh?
f. A/C in our room in not working. Needed to transfer to another room.
g. Henna details.. didn't know that it can't get wet after 2 hours. All of us are 1st timer.
h. The Banana Boat Ride was traumatic. they allowed 12 people in the boat. The 1st Drop was not a drop but a "THROW". It hurts in the eyes and throat (nakainom kme ng madaming tubig). The 3rd drop was so far from the shore. We needed to struggle a lot to reach the shore . I am not a swimmer that's why I got so tired. But we still want to try it again but not with the same boatman!. He's BAD. Hehe.
i. Going home, the water is not calm. There were waves. We even got wet inside. It was scary but hubby said that it is normal. We are very thankful that we arrived safe in Batangas Pier.

Overall... we had fun since the weather was fair. We tried the henna tattoo (min of 100php), bananaboat ride (100 per person), snorkling (special rate for our group - 4 pax for 1500 including gears rental) and of course we shopped for souviner & pasalubongs. Accomodation is 2500 for 2 bedrooms with A/C and cable TV. Hubby enjoyed swimming, looking for unique stones and feeding fish. It was all worth an exprience.
